Wouldn't this be immediately obvious to any investigator? Unless the organization is so entrenched they keep the police force from doing anything, but then you'd also expect them to not let this conspiracy become a big news story.

Nippon Police are surprisingly incompetent.
Their law enforcement and justice department are conditioned to only accept slam dunk cases, so they're really untrained when it comes to doing actual investigative work.

Because Hanafusa isn't doing this for money, he does it because he likes to cut people open. The organ farm lets him cut more people open without scrutiny or any risk of getting caught. It's even hammered in during this very chapter, when he throws away the envelope of money.

This is boring, how many more chapters before our HERO returns? Why's common sentiment that Ohma is a boring protagonist? I think he's quite fun and years of reading Omega hasn't changed that opinion (concerning Ashura). Is it both Omega and storytime fatigue? Cause the threads spent dozens of chapters/10 fights/weeks away from him being the forefront?

>More interestingVery debatable with the amount of story and mysteries Ohma gets. I think you mean that others are more engaging. Which sure, I do like several other characters more than I do Ohma. But I'm not putting him under more than half the tournament. Such as characters that are a cool idea with one pivotal moment like Harou.
>Niko styleRule of cool, I will forgive 5000 bag of tricks Demonbanes and Waka jobs for cool as fuck fights. Complaining about asspull powerup memory lossed Cohma is as pedantic as when an anon bitched about Muteba having the ancient Chinese heart jab.

>Why's common sentiment that Ohma is a boring protagonist? He loses some of his cocky swagger that made him fun pre-memories along the way, but I believe the real reason he gets dumped on is that only 2 out of his 5 fights in the KAT are good. Some of which falls on guys like Inaba and Cosmo being pretty lame opponents for a protagonist and on Waka for being a bullshit character.
>>
>>286403739The Cosmo fight is excellent, in fact every Cosmo fight in the KAT is excellent, and Waka's other fights (Gozo, Julius, Muteba) are all also good so I don't think you can blame Waka for the Ohma fight being bad. I don't even think the Waka/Ohma fight is bad it just feels simplistic. And Ohma is actually better received post-Raian coma when he thinks he's going to die.
>>286400054The *actual* reason Ohma is not liked in early Ashura is because he's cocky without being able to back it up; he's at his most smug early on after beating Rihito (lol), only barely makes it past Seki and then gets ragdolled by Hatsumi. He's hugely overreliant on his super mode to bail him out and people got annoyed when he needed it in three big fights in a row (Seki/Inaba/Raian). It wasn't apparent until at least after the Inaba fight that Ohma is full of shit intentionally early on (for instance he tells Kiryu he doesn't care about revenge but he *absolutely* does he's just hiding it). That's why the pinball scene with Agito is liked so much.

Footwork on sand is pretty miserable so you have to move differently.
You need a solid and ideally slightly flexible surface to do modern boxing and MMA footwork properly. Either bare feet on wood or a sprung canvas, or sneakers.

>Maybe the author'll refuse after seeing how retardedly protective of his characters sandro is.
I think a Kenichi/Kengan crossover would be fun if it's just them teaming up to fight some random enemy rather than a competition between the casts. I think you could suspend some disbelief with Kengan vs Baki but the Masters in Kenichi are just literal super humans. The Elderblows up a missile with his fists point blank and was unharmed by the explosionfor fucks sake, there's just no way a Kengan character can reasonably compete against that. Even below the Elder, the masters are walking on water and shooting shockwaves that can destroy buildings.

One of the biggest things I was surprised to learn I unknowingly took for granted most of my life was rice when reading the yearly Usagi Yojimbo threads. Peasants in feudal-era Japan could go years without having even so much as a bowl because of its cost. Not surprising to see it still be a precious commodity in immediate post-war Japan.

Barley, buckwheat, whatever vegetables they could produce from their farms, coastal towns had the sea. They used to make what little rice they had go longer by mixing it up with larger amounts of barley, but generally, the diet of a poor peasant was pretty dire.

For the last one, you could at least make the argument that he had hired a private detective to get evidence to give to the yakuza boss, so it wasn't exactly a 'pure gamble'. Although the boss arriving in just the nick of time is pretty much for dramatic timing.
The other two are just I guess from his 'luck' and 'attitude' though.

Kazuo also skates by with a lot of luck, but I think the difference is that the story doesn't try to frame him as this brilliant mastermind.
We know that he's an incompetent doofus who just happens to have a good eye for fighters and insane luck, so it's funny when everyone overestimates him.
Metsudo knowing how lucky he is and abusing it makes him a lot less charming.

There's a gulf of difference between a Kazuo and a Metsudo. If Metsudo was a proper villainous character, people would love him, but he's like Raian in that regard: forced into an ill-suited narrative role.
Being an author's pet tends to make a character's reputation drop.

"Confidence" and "being a dick" is definitely not why people hate Metsudo and Raian.Koga, Edward and Yumigahama weren't exactly humble, but guess who had a lot of people rooting for them, and guess what happened to his reputation when Koga turned stoic.Kazuo losing his confidence and assertiveness is one of the worst things that happened to him.

Who's chasing rematches against homeless people that already got their ass beat in previous fights, even more decisively than Koga's attempts. It's to the point that psykoga became a joke. Also really doesn't help that his targets were Xia Ji and Yumigahama.I seethed so hard over the Xia half.
>>
>>
>>286425903Koga has had more impact on the plot than almost any heroic character until the Inside Arc. By befriending and defeating Ryuki who is a very important figure he had a massive impact on the plot whereas stuff like the KVP despite getting hundreds of chapters was basically a sideshow.
