While Magatsumi powers being a direct giga-nuke version of their sorcery, are amazing, I really hope the other sword powers aren't just a direct steal from them. It would make sense, of course, but I really liked the early theory that they somehow reflected Kunishige’s mindset and thoughts at the time, imbued with meaning and later channeled with the wielder too. It would make each sword creation more interesting than just stealing and making them taste their own medicine.
