They really should just ban posting from cellular connections, if you want to phonepost here you should be able to connect to wifi. Yeah, they somewhat recently implemented a new policy of not "reporting" things to them in the IRC. Their logic being you should use the report feature on the site, failing to realize the whole reason someone would go to the IRC and talk to them (aside from appealing a ban) is BECAUSE the report feature didn't work.

So yeah, like you said, laziness and degradation. They don't want to admit that the report system is broken nor do any extra work when it fails. Thankfully I know of a mod in the IRC who's generally been chill whenever I've talked to him and just warned me about the new policy the last time I tried to get him to delete a schizo thread, but I won't say his name at the risk of ruining that last good contact.

Anyway, the entire system needs an overhaul but I feel like that's even less likely to happen after the soijak hack made them even more hands-off. Don't know how much longer it can last.

I can't prove it but I have a strong suspicion that reported posts can't be "re-checked" after a mod dismisses them. Meaning even if a shitter mod thinks the post doesn't break a rule, more people reporting it afterwards doesn't lead to a second mod giving it a second opinion. That's why blatantly rule breaking posts can be left up all day even though more people throughout the day have in fact reported it, because some dumbass mod already marked it as fine. I've observed and even tested this myself (through various means) many times over the years.

Of course, there is in fact a priority list, where "illegal content" flies to the top of the report queue, and NSFW and MLP seem to be high priorities otherwise, but if there are no second opinions at all then that's a fundamental flaw with the system. Aside from that though, the report queue seeming to be only that one singular post with no replies or context sometimes doesn't make it obvious what the problem is. The most effective moderation I've seen is when a mod actually enters the thread and can see everything.

I sometimes feel like a little box where you can write additional info about the report would help a lot. Just to be able to say what exactly the problem is instead of ticking a box. That way they get some context even if the post is removed from it.

I think this might literally be her best looking suit, hands down. The varia suit is iconic and is a very solid design, but this one mixes the lame fusion suit in but makes it look cool as fuck. Also it gives her combat boots and big muscular legs, hips, and booty

I disagree hard on that one, the Fusion suit goes hard and is iconic. It looks exactly like pieces of her suit were removed and the rest of the suit mutated and "grew" over itself. I love the backpack looking like a Metroid and the metal as fuck arm spikes too. The Dread suit is just riding its coat tails, and I was never a big fan of the "half Chozo half Federation" suits like the PED suit (that one is garbage).
Also not a fan of the comically big screws in the shoulders or the blue parts being turned into saran wrap, or them getting rid of the arm spikes.

That being said the best suit is the Phazon Suit from Prime 1. It might be a basic bitch recolor but it takes the already perfect Prime Varia suit and gives it a sick color scheme.

I think it's definitely a top contender for her best suit, alongside the Vi-O-La. Though I somewhat prefer the Vi-O-La's toned biomechanical design and overall sleeker silhouette. But I can't deny the Dread Suit accentuates all the right places.

The Fusion suit isn't ideal, but it's not bad for being mutated scar tissue in humanoid form.

I guess garbage was a strong word but I don't like the super harsh contrast between the Federation parts and the Chozo parts (even though that's the point) nor the football pad shoulders. Story-wise I appreciate it and I do like how it turns corrupted and lights up over time.

I hate the Smash 4 / Ultimate Varia suit because it's based off the Other M design, which over smoothed the design to the point that it looks like a toy. The gun in particular was narrowed too much and looks like a pea shooter instead of the cannon it's supposed to be. They did improve it by adding some detail back in Smash but I still hate the suit aesthetically and referentially. I wish we got a Prime skin for her in Ultimate.

I guess for me I like when the suit looks bulky and intimidating like in Prime, like you wouldn't want to see that thing lumbering at you in a dark hallway. Which is ironic to say in a fetish thread where she's usually drawn off-model (such as this) but I think instead of trying to make the suit more agile and streamlined they should keep Samus in the suit as bulky and slower and Samus out of the suit as the agile one. In Prime it even controls sort of like you're in a mech which makes you feel like a real threat to everything in your path. Also the Prime visor notch is cool, too.
