Do you guys have any experience with this?
Shit I read online is pretty much exactly 50:50. Did it work for YOU?

From what I've read it should help preventing them from building their nest where the fake is but in some reports I've read of wasps actually using those fakes as housing for their actual nest lol

Reports of lone wasps staying away from full breakfast tables simply because of one of those paper bags sound like complete bullshit too.

No, these don't work at all. Wasps are smart enough to tell a fake nest from a real one.

i had paper wasps trying to set up shop in my shed. I put up a paper bag in there cause why not. Didn't get any more paper wasps building in there. Mud daubers didn't seem to care though.

do wasps coincidentally care about these?

Behold! I bestow the power for anyone to move a wasp nest anywhere they want! All it takes is co2 and a plastic container!

>carefully put funnel over nest
>miss 2 or 3 fuckers
>one of them already out to sting you
>you lift the funnel to catch at least the two other ones
>now even more are out
>you already are in the process of getting stung
>abandon ship
Yeah truly something absolutely every amateur can do

>paper wasps
Let me know when someone comes up with a way to relocate a hornet nest into the residences of my enemies

They are both insects so it might work? Try and upload video of your attempt.

It should technically work the same. You'd just need a lot more material

Paper wasps aren't even that bad as far as wasps go. You have to almost be trying in order to piss them off and they only really become a problem when they build nests in or around your door. The ones I'm scared of are yellowjackets.

It depends on the species of paper wasps. Some of them are pretty chill, but one specific species that lives in my area (polistes carolina or something that looks similar) is extremely obnoxious and aggressive.

Yellowjackets have a bad reputation, but I've never actually had any trouble with them, even when right next to their nest.

Just use real nests.
I spray the ones I have to kill the inhabitants, then leave the nest up to deter future nests in that spot.
I didn't have to spray anything last year on my overhang porch thanks to this.
