I stubbed my toe so badly once it split my toenail. The nail grew back ingrown after that and I had to get surgery for it. The ingrown nail hurt like hell if anything touched it. My roommate's cat stepped on it once and it caused me agonizing pain. Surgery fixed the problem almost immediately, I couldn't believe it. Not even any lingering pain or tenderness afterwards.

One time I had a really painful cluster headache that was so bad I couldn't function and could only lie down in a cold room in the dark (that makes it feel better) then I stubbed my big toe REALLY fucking hard while walking in the dark and it made my headache go away instantly. I have never felt so instantly cured in my entire life
