So I spent a lot of time and effort into researching him.
I actually made quite of lot of progress.
A couple of times in XSG back then, I shared what I had found.
Those were the paragraph long posts detailing all of the clues I had gathered about him.

And then some I realized that I didn't like the way I was feeling and acting.
My frustration, anger, and hatred of him consumed me.
It took some self reflection, but I decided to just let it go.
If someone did find him in real life, I would feel guilty.
Once I accepted that I can't stop Spammy from being annoying, he became less annoying to me.
All the power he had over me, disappeared.
I was in control over my emotions and actions.

All of this fixation on Spammy is you not in control of your emotions.

Part of the source of friction you have with some of the other posters is due to how few people regularly post on XSG.
It's basically the same small group of people talking to each other.
People notice patterns and begin to recognize each other.
I've seen this even on /x/, where there are no user IDs.

Trolling is most effective, if it's fresh people each time.
Once people recognize you, people don't fall for the same trick again.

If you want to have less friction with the rest of /XSG/, you could try not to view the other anons as a source of potential entertainment.
View them as people that you're talking to in person, and treat them with the same respect and dignity you would want to be treated as.
Not as an act, or behaving in unnatural way to "be nice."
It would have to be something you would do, out of sincere, and genuine feeling.
And it's not something you would announce doing.
It's like, if someone wants other people to think they're cool, they don't tell people that they're trying to act cool.

That being said, the well is kind of already poisoned.

He has been spamming here 24/7 for 4 years now.
