YEESH. I can get pastured lard for $12-14. It’s the one (1) “le local/farmers market” meat thing that isn’t Jewed to all hell. Farmers and farmers markets realized they could fleece yuppies and crunchies with their grass fed/finished meat.
Also, the feed doesn’t really matter unless you’re eating a fatty meat (think ribs). However, grassfed fat is kind of ass (almost copper-metallic?)

Like 1200 and you choose all your cuts. It sounds expensive but by volume you're getting a huge discount. The main issue is you have to find people to split the other portions of the cow if you aren't buying it. I eventually want to move to buying half but I need a coffin freezer for that mines to small for anything other than 1/4.
