>ANYTHING edible can be turned into an ice cream flavor
To those who have experimented, what have you made?

Cum ice cream
I'm so original. Guys, shock value am I right? Funny, yah? Doesn't that disgust you? Someone reply "that doesn't disgust me; it excites me! Mmm yummy semen" to further chain this shock value post

I don't really make ice cream but one time at a 1 (michelin) star restaurant, one of the entrees I got was a plate of olive oil ice cream with some veggies. The ice cream itself tasted like olive oil but had a smooth and creamy texture. Not too sweet. If I had an ice cream maker I'd probably make some once in a while, it was tasty.

Found the picture. My bad, it was actually served with some strawberries. The white stuff is the olive oil ice cream.

I'd make so many ice cream abominations if I had a Ninja Creami but fuck paying 200 dollars for one.

It was very funny and I'm also surprised that I've never thought of that joke myself

I haven't made anything wacky, and never will. I do plan on making tonka bean and ube flavor in the future
>Ninja Creami
you can literally use a cheap cuisine art ice cream maker, ninja creami is for retards who are too lazy to make actual ice cream

I invented a flavour that I make a lot. You take 2 scoops of vanilla iced cream, good quality is best, and some chocolate syrup drizzled over top. Next, mash up the iced cream and syrup together until you have a smooth, softserve style.
Summertime magic.

I learned this from watching Iron Chef. They would always be like "you have to make a desert with sardines" and every time the chef would just throw a tiny amount of the ingredient into ice cream and call it a day

they never dictated that you had to make a dessert or any particular course on iron chef like they did with chopped (fake staged "cooking" show). if a chef made a weird ice cream it was because he was divinely inspired to do so. please respect the legacy of iron chef.

Try tonka + black garlic, it's quite good.

I think an anon did Roquefort ice cream recently, not my cup of tea but it looked nice.

It does sound good in small amounts with fruit, I guess they didn’t add balsamic to not to be cliche

Nah. I just like apple as apple but I understand other people love the cinnamon and spices and such.
>>21978429
That's a weirdly common flavour in my area. Still no apple, though. Dewberry is in season so I'm sure that'll pop up soon locally.
>>21976819
Besides apple, I've also made corn as well as carrot. Not carrot cake. Just carrot.

Oh my god, that brings back memories of mostly-dubbed Iron Chef on Food Network at like, 2 or 3 in the morning. Of course, Chairman Kaga wasn't dubbed, but subtitled, which was just the best, but just as great was the absolute melties the announcers had whenever anyone went to the ice cream machine.
Just a general sense of, "oh fucking Christ, what in the fresh hell are the chefs going to subject us to tonight!?"
It was glorious.

Tomato soup ice cream. Experimented a few times with different things, surprisingly ended up liking the version using jarred salsa best. Most of my other ice creams have been pretty tame, only other notable one was a black sesame flavored one that I fucked up the sugar balance in and turned into an overly sweet sludge.
