Should a restaurant menu be insulting me?

In my experience they can cook, they just don’t cook Indian food as it’ll take way too much time for too little food compared to a simple pasta or soup. The time/amount ratio for Indian cuisine skews heavily to being inefficient unless you have extra hands to help, and their dishes work far better when it’s the family helping with the prep instead of a single college bachelor(ette).

Probably just cause it's the pricing via a delivery app.
My local Indian place is similar.
Their direct menu price is decent (though still not cheap), and the delivery menu is a good 20-30% more.
Pic related, menu directly on their website.

Do you realize that a bowl of curry and a flap of naan is like 200 rupees in India? That's roughly $2. "Main, side, and drink" is the most hopelessly capitalistic American way I've heard someone refer to a meal.

>Chana Masala, rice/naan and a Coke for $19
That's insanely expensive.
I make Chana Masala for under $2 for maybe four servings. Rice/naan costs cents to make.
The most expensive ingredient in that meal is probably the can of Coke.
Profit margins on Indian food are crazy.
