It's pretty fucking easy to make fries dry and flavorless. Cook them 2 1/2 minutes instead of 2 minutes and they are fucked. Like if you are cooking fries as a side you do them when what you are eating is already done and in you are in the kitchen fucking around plating or washing a couple things.
