It is good to stuff your sandwiches with vegetables. Remember when Jimmy John's had sprouts?

Sprouts and cilantro are too difficult to source without field contamination. No one wants to spend the required resources to sanitize them, especially since that process degrades the quality. As a result, most places have done away with offering them. The few that still have them just deal with customers complaining that they got the squirts from eating there.

i eat cilantro every week and have never experienced any ill effects, and the last time we heard about doodoo in the fields was so long ago that most people on the board were not legally allowed to post here back then.

how do you retards even remember this chain having offered sprouts when they were removed from the menu such a long fucking time ago but still don't get the real reason why?
it wasn't the result of an outbreak. these companies are predatorially fucking cheap as fucking fuck and proud of it. they put signs on the walls about counting sheets in rolls of toilet paper for crying out loud. imagine a board room of idiots thinking of anything at all to save 1 penny per sales quarter. give them any fucking indication at all you will buy air at 25 cents a huff and they will fucking do it.

Agreed. Wraps are better for that though.
t. ate 240g of ham and a whole lot of thinly sliced cabbage with a ginger turmeric peanut butter and tahini dressing in two wraps on today's hike.
