I once thought on an absurd way to justify being able to date/marry/fug shotas and even make babies with them through a plant species with two different types.

Type A is almost identical in shape to a human male, although with an IQ rarely higher than a teenager. The fruits of type B plants are bright green before being fertilized with male seeds, and during this time they are considered edible and highly nutritious. Once the fruits are fertilized, they take on a color similar to that of the type A baby that will emerge when the fruit is detached. At this point, the fruits have a very bitter taste and consuming them is considered a serious taboo.

Although type A plants normally fertilize type B plants, both types are sexually compatible with human males. There was one time when I was foolishly browsing these threads on my phone during dinner with my family and my sister caught a glimpse of the screen. She thought I was browsing twitter because the screen at that moment only showed text, but she said she could read the word "shota" and she and one of my parents asked what it meant. I immediately changed the topic without answering them and nobody mentioned it again. Another (former) member of this friend group was a lolicon, so we unknowingly moved in similar circles. Through a series of random events, he was able to discover my shota posting, and at first he was chill about it, but eventually there was a falling out and he told the others (he was already assumed by the group to be a lolicon so the revelation carried less threat of social stigma for him). The friend group more or less remained constant over the years (minus him), and now in the rare times that era is mentioned, no one brings it up, and they've acted surprised when other, non-shota related things that were revealed have been mentioned more recently. It's either a case of "don't ask, don't tell" or the inexorable march of time weathering all things to dust.

I watched Boku no Pico with a friend when we were in high school because he was curious of the memes about it. He was strangely focused watching it while I was doing my best effort to avoid dropping my spaghetti and revealing my power level, and ultimately quit the video claiming that "this shit is too gay and uncomfortable for me, watch it in your house if you want" and told him to do something else.
