90s stylization aside, what's so stupid about it? I've never seen anyone make a case against it that wasn't already in bad faith. Sure, it's blatantly sexy, it's superhero comics, of course an athletic woman in a form fitting outfit is going to look sexy. The Cooke redesign shows it doesn't matter how practical and realistic the suit is made, people are going to find ways to make it unrealistically sexier anyhow.

I can't help but notice the double standard in contrast to Batman. Back when Cooke's design was introduced, Batman had just switched back from his all black suit to the classic black/gray. Even now, Selina's recently switched from a modernized take on the purple suit to a dully flashionable black suit while Batman's back in his blue/gray. I'll never understand why his outlandish and more cartoony looks are constantly referenced and reverted to while Selina's past looks are always met with scorn.

Sure, but it's such a non-issue. Again, this is comics. Suits don't have to look practical in order to be functional. Batman gets away with all sorts of impossible functionality in a seemingly skintight suit, why can't Catwoman?
