I looked it up. Looks like it releases right after this Elspeth series wraps up. The blurb says it focuses on his relationship with Tezzeret who was his mentor at some point. This feels weird since it doesn't directly sync up with new card releases. I don't mind the general idea of revisiting characters and settings though. The pace of new sets being released always results in the settings and characters being underbaked.

Yeah it costs one less and is part of a two card infinite combo with triskelion. The original one is mainly an expensive mana sink and an occasional big beater once you get enough devotion.

Planeswalkers are gay.

I couldn't give a shit about the modern storylines revolving around them. Only the original ones like Karn, and Sorin were good.
