when i click "i am over 18" it redirects me to a page that wasn't archived. i tried using inspect element to remove the pop-up without clicking it, but then i couldn't scroll to read the whole thing.

Is this the comic where they gave people catgirls but you weren't supposed to fuck them?
I feel like no fucking universe would be that retarded. Who the fuck gives catgirls to people without fully expecting they'd fuck them?

Reposting this guide:
You can easily get around that age-gate on desktop by doing the following.
>When you get to this pop up (as shown in pic related), click "Yes" then quickly press the "Esc" key on your keyboard.
>Pressing the Esc key stops the page from reloading and taking you to the login page. The pop up will disappear and you can continue reading

from what i remember from the author's comments the catgirls aren't "officially" meant for sex by the people who made them, but they know it would happen anyways.

I'm pretty sure it was addressed that they just gave them away and didn't care what happened after, so they would have to imagine some catgirls are getting fucked.

My interpretation was basically National Genetics Institute know that people would want to fuck the catgirls and NGI probably planned for it to happen.
BUT if they come out and officially state
>we sell catgirls as sex slaves to smelly NEETS
it makes them look really bad in the eyes of the public. Well worse than they already do.
But we also haven't gotten too far into the reboot, so we don't know if they are officially bang maids in this version.

>the catgirls aren't "officially" meant for sex by the people who made them, but they know it would happen anyways
If they’re crossbreedable, then Shinzo Abe’s dream will live on.
>why would they release a creature that’s crossbreedable with incels and-or not spayed?
Same reason they don’t instruct the incels to not stick their dick in the cats, I guess.

I imagine there's probably the catgirl equivalent of Epstein Island in their world, except worse.
When you have people (albeit incel-ish types) saying "you don't need consent" to screw the catgirls (>>152677251), I imagine some people will be doing some pretty fucked up things to the catgirls.

>I think I'll write a novel about middle aged wine aunts abusing werewolves and vampires assigned to them by the government.
In terms of thematics. assigned werewolves/vampires as companions wouldn't work. it should be dogboys.
for this comic itself, there's catboys in the comic.
>>
>>
>>152678300
webtoons has basically the same sort of guidelines as tapas in regards to that. I think in part its because of the app-stores requirements. the apple store and google play store don't like explicit sex or extreme violence.
It doesn't have to be PG. I would describe it more so as cutting out at pg-13.

So, is the crippled guy with his companion going into the restaurant seemingly unbothered supposed to imply that Peter is the issue, not Andi? Or is the implication that people see the crippled dude as being more in need of a "companion" and thus less inclined to assume he's a weird freak?
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>152678687
This is true, but I was talking about how other people perceive Peter vs the wheelchair dude. I guess we don't see wheelchair guy's interactions in the diner, so we can't know for sure, but based on his demeanor and how mentions getting his "usual", we can infer that he visits the diner often and presumably either doesn't receive any shit from other people about his catgirl or he does and just ignores it.
Obviously this is all pure speculation, but if I were to guess, the implication is that the wheelchair guy doesn't get dirty looks (or, at the very least, not as many) since he has a "legitimate excuse" for needing a catgirl, since he is literally physically incapable of doing certain things on his own, whereas people see Peter and assume he's just a weird freak who is fucking his catgirl because he's a loser (which, to be fair, is basically the case)
>>
>>
>>152678819
I mean, honestly? Probably decently high, but he has a visually obvious "excuse" to have a government-provided assistant, so people probably don't jump to that conclusion instantly like they do an autist like Peter.

>I mean, honestly? Probably decently high, but he has a visually obvious "excuse" to have a government-provided assistant, so people probably don't jump to that conclusion instantly like they do an autist like Peter.
some probably assume the catgirl will just shove him out of the wheelchair if he gets annoying

>not one person has been kind to andi
Nobody has really interacted with Andi. They basically act like she isn't there. Most of the scornful remarks and dirty looks have been directed at Peter. I think, much like the previous iteration of the comic, the idea is that most people in this world see the catgirls as effectively bipedal cats and therefore are somewhat ambivalent towards them, perhaps seeing them as an annoyance at worst, while seeing people that own them as potential/probable zoophiles.

No, we're not going to examine how sex is an intimate act done by two people who see past each other's flaws and instead want to be so close to another that they become one, hes just a weird incel freak who would probably rape you if he was man enough!"

They also advertise them as having "the emotional intelligence of a cat". are cats known for that? or is this supposed to show how its not the real purpose of them.

>by showing him going to any restaurant the worldbuilding has told me that this isnt a factor
It's not "any" restaurant. it's a specific one. Maybe he didn't think of that and just got lucky with the one he went to? Maybe there's been laws passed?
It's also only 4 episodes in, so we dont know everything about the setting yet.

What it should mean is that your cat girl starts meowing at you at 3 am because she's needy and wants attention/food

What is the goal of this comic? What was the point of this reboot when it still feels like there's still no real plan beyond "hey wouldn't it be fucked up if we actually gave cat girl slaves to loney dysfunctional people?". What exactly is this building towards?
>>
>>
>>152679659
>What exactly is this building towards?
I mean, it seems we're gonna find that out eventually, probably a lot sooner than the previous iteration too, given that this one's pacing seems to be a lot faster.
>>
>>152679659
I know I'm only looking at it surface level, but it really feels like "incel bad and are angry sex pests" without any real dive into how people turn out that way. Or really how having someone who's always there for them could be beneficial for someone who feels out of place. I think the best comic is when the dude gets irrationally angry, and the cat girl just has to sit there and deal with this guys aggression. It actually made me step outside of myself because I'm also very hot headed, but I've never been on the outside watching that happen, if you know what I mean
>>
File: 13.png (1.7 MB)
1.7 MB PNG
>>152679698
The original didn't have time to dive into much of anything. It didn't last that long, had some really short chapters towards the end, and on top of that, Peter and Andi's plot line had to share screen time with the doctor's and some other boy/cat duo. Even still, it showed he had friends who encouraged his bad habits (fellow outcasts he probably found easier to acclimate to) and a helicopter mom that'd get frustrated with him because she didn't know how to deal with his autism (or whatever he had).
>the best comic is when the dude gets irrationally angry, and the cat girl just has to sit there and deal with this guys aggression
You mean the one where he locked her in a closet? I don't think he was legitimately angry there. Andi got angry and him, he didn't know how to deal with her, so he panicked and shoved her out of sight, then started crying about it. He's self-centered, angsty, and socially inept, but I don't think its in an "angry incel raging at the foids" kinda way. Though he does put on that persona to impress his friends.
>>
>>
>>152680313
I thought there was one where he like throws shit off a table and it breaks.
>I dont think its in an "angry incel raging at the foids" kinda way
How else is it supposed to be interpreted? Even that description of being "self-centered, angsty, and socially inept" is painted with the same brush as the term "incel". Especially when the artist/writer is female who's going to put her own experiences into the story, as most writers do.
>>
>>152679468
i imagine most guys who get a catgirl are sweaty unsociable autismos, so you can imagine what theyd think of that
>>152679567
cats are somewhat emotionally intelligent sure. my current cat is able to pick up when im down and comes to cheer me up. theyre not very complex emotionally speaking but they can empathize to an extent
>>
>>
>>152679698
>it really feels like "incel bad and are angry sex pests"
Is that why Peter is portrayed as a sympathetic but flawed character? That much has never changed since the original, he never was just a strawman. I don't like being the "media literacy" guy but Jesus Christ, learn how to read in-between the lines (though the comments on Webtoon are pretty retarded and make this mistake too).
>>
>>152678435
>I think in part its because of the app-stores requirements. the apple store and google play store don't like explicit sex or extreme violence.
At this point, you might as well market normalfags if you're gonna down that route. Everyone knows the normiesphere is full of the genertic soullous brainnumbing uncreative slop imaginable. PG-13 tier slop gets old. If I can't be edgey, make lewds, or violent scenes, then it's no fun. No wonder why other creators are navigating to foreign outlets to post their media because these western companies have too many rules just to not offend the most retarded easily butthurt normalfagging normie norm in existence.
>>
>>
>>152680746
At least in the reboot it's already pretty obvious Peter is a very anxious, socially retarded person who's hanging out with people who are bad for him, he's not a great guy but he could be better with the right motivator (like big tiddy cat girls). I'm gonna guess that his mother being somewhat shitty still holds true here as well.
>>
>>152680712
i also think its because of korean cultural stuff. tapas and webtoons are owned by south korean companies . that country don't have uncensored porn manhwa from what I understand, and they often censor gore in their manhwa too.

Why would they make a therapy animal capable of feeling despair?
>>
>>152680440
>How else is it supposed to be interpreted?
Everyone seems to have their own definition of an incel, but for me, someone's only one if they show noticeable and consistent feelings of resentment and hostility towards women over the idea of being denied sex or the chance at a romantic relationship (which would then lead to sex), and certain types of men who they also hate and feel inferior to. I don't think being depressed, lonely, or socially out of touch, in of itself, makes someone an incel. Lots of people feel that way. I could try to get into it some more, but I basically view Peter as a more nerdy and pathetic version of say, Shinji Ikari, and I wouldn't exactly call Shinji an incel.

Plus mighta been a bucnha weeaboos who made them. Otherwise, as you said, they would have selected the animal:
>More common therapy animal
>Shows more direct signs of liking someone (you are giving them to autists for fucks sake)
>Man's best friend out of all animals.
I can't think of an advantage of giving catgiirls vs dog girls.

they aren't robots. it would be a lot harder create a being that could not feel certain emotions than it would to splice one animal's ears onto another. right now, we have the technology to creat flies with antennae where their legs should be.

but turning off sadness would be quite a different matter. further, doing so would certainly make them worse companions, as they would not be able to relate to a person experiencing dispair.

I like cats because they got a sense of independence. I can leave my cat alone for most of the day with her toys, water and food and she'll be fine. She still loves to get close with me and sleep next to me at night, but it has to be on her terms. Aren't those the kinds of traits that are ideal for a companion? At least for me, I'd want someone who doesn't need to be given attention 24/7.

Nobody really votes (not any more). If you elect someone, you only have it on good faith that they'll act in your interests (fat chance), while if you directly vote on a law, a judge can strike it down without referendum for being "wrong".
If you tell the government you don't want something to happen, they will either ignore your response or continue to ask you until you give the response they want.
This is a direct result of putting "experts" in charge of policy, by the way. "The experts know better than you". On what basis are they experts? Mostly because they agree with each other.
