That being said, Issue 36 itself does feel a bit like Artibani was working off of cliff notes compared to Paola Mulazzi and Bruno Enna's more well put together Issue 34 and 35 respectively.

Actually no. I consider Arc 4-6 the overall strongest era of the comic(not everyone does, but I do).
The worst period is probably Arc 9-10, though 7 is possibly the most infuriating.

The archive Norwegian scan has several formats, like pdf, jp2; for the jp2.zip in Irfanview I needed to first install the jpeg2000 plugin, then:
open IrfanView - Help - Installed Plugins - click to select Jpeg2000.DLL ; exit IrfanView, reopen IrfanView.
Alternative is from a PDF: IrfanView - Options - Multipage images - Extract all pages - Extract all frames - Save as jpg (preferable) - Start.
If extracted frames are too low-res, change IrfanView - Options - Properties/Settings - Plugins - PDF Options - Set DPI - 72 or experiment to find optimum resolution/file sizes.
For picrel I used IrfanView File - Batch Conversion/Rename - Output JPEG - Use advanced options - Resize - Set New Size - Height 2000 - Start Batch

When someone does something you can see the logic about why they did it. Little bit of mystery and character exploration [Jaime] here and there makes you feel intelligent when you understand a character's motivations.
Also less people doing heroic shit for the sake of heroism and anyone can genuinely die at any point.Ed's death is a major indicator of how the books are going to go from then on.All works together to give a massive break from well-worn tropes into something engaging.

Last I read up to, the Hearts that empower the Guardians are physically in Kandrakar so it'd be easy to cut them off if they started getting the wrong ideas.
But let's assume the Guardians get the glowing balls inside them and away from Kandrakar before they start a coup, Kandrakar will most likely resort to trapping them on Earth like they did to Meridian. Their military capabilities don't really exist except to get snowballed as a show of how powerful the enemy of the month is.
