I suppose the idea is that Betty somehow had Seeka’s demon powers transferred to her during the summoning. As thats the only thing that would explain the way the barrier reacted to both, and how as a human she can withstand toon physic levels of punishment.

I don't know if there's enough meat in the idea to do a whole series of this though, the shorts with the girl and the demon messing with each other are cute and it worked well enough as a longer episode since it was still fairly novel, but I could see it getting old fast, and the ghost girl is cute but I'm not sure how she's going to work with the chemistry of the other two and she kind of unbalances the team

You know what? I actually don't think that was very good. Betty and Seeka ultimately proved to be incompetent, and did nothing to beat the chainsaw guy. It was all Mary accomplishing things. Like, fundamentally, if this is a pilot for a potential series, this doesn't show the strength, and usefulness of 2/3rds of your main cast. Why does Mary join them? Just cause? If Betty and Seeka actually helped her, and showed they could be good friends and a team, that would make sense. I like the designs, and the concept is cute, but the execution doesn't work.

And the Ghost Girl needs to drink food and is capable of vomiting? The hell kind of ghost is this? Even Casper showed that when ghosts "eat" the food and drink goes through them because they are dead already. Its just badly written stupid uninspired shit.
