The industry has to be utterly fuck if this stupid circus shoe is getting dozens of threads. And what a sad state the industry is in. A mediocre show produced by trannies and social media obsessed queers is all people want to talk about on this garbage board.

Diversify, maintain studio with merch sales, downsize as needed and wait for the next next money maker.

It's popular because it appeals to the most terminally online faggots on the planet.
>Setting is like a video game
>Cute design to get coomers attracted
>Theory baiting up the wazoo to astroturf online engagement
>Humor that panders to unfunny redditors
It's a show with all style, no substance.

All indications point to Goose ending things in a way that a new season is almost impossible, unless they want to multiple-timeline this shit Evangelion style just to keep the gravy train rolling. They might actually do that, honestly...

They won't. The Amazing Digital Circus is what's keeping them ALIVE. That's why Glitch is scrambling to suck as much money as they still can out of the franchise before it ends, hence the theatrical premiere

I think moving on the plan will be more or less what >>153190702 says.
Way I see it, with the money they got from TADC (and will still get for a while, what with the merchandise and all), they'll be able to produce more shows and, depending on the public's reception for each pilot, they will prioritize this or that show.
It's just standard procedure for any entertainment company I reckon. The only difference I presume will be that they'll probably stick to content that is more directed towards teens/adults, rather than something focused on kids.
>>

so far it seems they want to throw everything at the wall until they get another hit. it will be interesting but I don't think they will get to something as big unless they make a brand new film purely for theatures which they might. they lost ad revenue on some of the older episodes of TADC already due to being marked as youtube kids

Let goosrowx make another show?
Convince xir to make a second season?it's a cartoon just retcon and make shit up
Never have anything this successful again? (most likely)
Buy the rights to make Sonic Boom season 3?
>>
>>153190658
>How will they recover once TADC ends?
once all their other new shows start to fail they will let go their "artistic integrity" and 8 episodes per show and start milking their successful shows, first they will announce Murder Drones Season 2, then Digital Circus the movie followed by Digital Circus season 2. 3, 4, 5 each season with a new line of merchandise to sell.

If they don't have anything lined up to start airing IMMEDIATELY after AND if it doesn't have similar vibes, then they'll basically become a TADC merch company that also makes animations that almost nobody watches.

meanwhile, Pomni is the most desirable woman in animation because she's nice. A huge change from most women.

I'm looking forward to Gaslight district
Knights of Guinevere seemed more interesting than I thought it would be (though I don't think I'll buy any merch)
I kind of KNOW Gameoverse will not be good.

What would be the actual reaction to the cast finding out Pomni and Jax are in a relationship. Say they made up after episode 6 and started actually dating...

Is this seriously going to be the biggest culturally massive series this decade? Im not even super into the series but I fail to see any other indie animated series get as big as TADC for the foreseeable future.

They won’t at this rate unless they get another hit show. There current roster isn’t the giant that TADC is. It’s like rooster teeth but this is Red Vs Blue ending and they don’t have a RWBY. You can tell me about shows they had being better and I won’t argue with you on that, but none of there other shows got as main stream as Red Vs Blue and RWBY.
>>
>>153200261
This, everyone's forgetting that the pilot for Gaslight didn't do well, KoG's was meh, and the reception to the trailer for Gameoverse was atrocious.
They'll be lucky to pull in the Murder Drones fans and "animation is high art" types.
>>
>>153200392
Is the plan yo have several teams working on several shows at once? so instead of "new TADC in three months!" it's "New Gaslight in 3 months, but new KoG in two months, and new Gameoverse in 1 month!"?
>>

Honestly, I'm sad the Disney fatigue is starting to hit the mainstream now, because they've actually made two really good animated movies in the form of the new Zootopia and Hoppers, and retarded garbage like Demon Hunters does not fucking deserve to win shit over those movies.
>>
I cannot wait for /co/ to be done talking about this shit all the time... or go the other way and keep the TADC general going nonstop until the anons in there go feral and have to be sent to /trash/ like what happened to RWBY.

this may be a nitpick but the glitch logo kind of bothers me. I mean, all of the letters are clearly uppercase, but the G is larger than the rest. Why can't the G be the same size as the other letters. speaking of the other letters, i don't like how the I, T, C, and H, are split. I know what they're trying to do, but i don't think they did it right,

>Goose knows that troons lewd toonshit when it's childish not overtly sexual
>Like how they had their head drilling & gore fetish from Happy Tree Friends
>Also knows that people love tumbr sexymen and gets Michael Kovach to voice Jax for that too, even putting him in a femboy maid dress as fanservice.
Lol, lmao even.

TADC falls into pandering I like to consider a kind of lefty lgbt crowd. A lot of indie animation does. And I guess it works, you just have to throw them the occasional bone of a gay character. Or in hazbins case a 90% gay cast.
on the vidya side only undertale really managed to hit this audience.

Lackadaisy will not work with this crowd at all. It doesn't have Gen Z/Alpha mass-appeal. TADC got big because it made everything about its characters and world vague and cryptic to encourage speculation and lore theorizing and shipping. All that stuff about eternal entrapment and agony in creepypasta computer worlds is like crack for zoomers. Meanwhile Lackadaisy's world and its characters are all too "normal" for that stuff- you'll have some speculation about what events will happen, or who might die, but that's the limit of it. TADC was made with the specific goal of having a fandom built around it, by someone who's very in touch with fandom culture and has a history of participating in it. Lackadaisy is more resistant to that sort of fandom emerging and is also made by someone who never delved or cared about fandom culture much.

>You make the show sound soulless.
>>
>>
>>153205718
Serious answer: "soulless" is a bit extreme. TADC clearly does have care and craft put into it. But it is also very calculated, borderline cynical, in what it's out to accomplish. It's not unique in that, many things do that (one could argue MOST successful media does that) It went above and beyond drawing in the crowd it was made to draw in.
>>
>>153205718
It kinda is. Every new episode makes me feel like the anticipation and theories are more interesting than the show itself
It has good production values and voice actors and a great concept but there's just not that much substance behind it

Someday they'll sell the Glitch Power Hour to random streaming services.
A random compilation of MD/Circus/Gas/Knights and Gameover episodes.
Sold on nostalgia and the randomness of not knowing which series appears in which episode.

i just hate that they still have this mindset of "we are making a breakthrough for all small indie projects!" bull fucking shit, you aint doing shit.
they still believe they are making a revolution like they did with that comunist video that they posted a long time ago.

The runaway success of Amazing Digital Circus will probably kill Glitch in the long run, they got too cocky and spent so much money on so many new projects that aren't going to reach anything near that level of financial success again

Nah, cocky would be planning to run on TADC forever.
If they're smartz whoch is a big If, then GD, KoG, and GO will all have been 100% funded by the proceeds from TADC to minimize risk. All it takes is one or two of them to be a moderate hit to keep the studio afloat.

I don't think Goose wants to do that and Glitch is not the type of company to force someone to do something they don't want to

I doubt it was a calculated decision. I suspect Gooseworx just likes this sort of stuff, and it aligned well with popular taste, which is why Glitch reached out after Little Runmo got 30 million views.
She's been doing "cute characters in horror situations" for over a decade. Here's a design sheet from 2017.
>>
>>
>>
>>153219027
I'm sure Glitch was betting on it being at least moderately profitable and started making merch before the first episode.
Having millions of subscribers, hot off the heels of Murder Drones, and collaborating with a viral animator, there's little reason to suspect it would flop.
I think collaborating with Gooseworx was a calculated decision from Glitch, and they probably guessed TADC would be the most popular out of however many ideas they brainstormed. I only disagree with the assertion that TADC was designed from the ground up to be popular, rather than Goose just having the same kind of autism as a lot of other people.

>>153205607
I don't get why the characters in Lackadaisy are cats. Like, you could swap them out for goats or lizards or humans and it wouldn't change the story at all. I prefer when there's a good reason for the characters to be animals
>>
>>
>>
>>153219587
Them being cats is pretty much just an aesthetic thing only. Think even the creator outright said that they pretty much are just humans but portrayed as cats, hence why their animalistic features or other related things are never brought up

They won't. None of their other shows are as merch-friendly or as well received as TADC has been, and that will bankrupt them as they try to over-invest in shitty pilots that all attempt different things with high quality visuals and the most mid-as-fuck storytelling and writing you can imagine.
>>
>>
>>153224408
Only way they survive doing more TADC without Goose is if the new shit they make is so unbelievably good that it overshadows the shame of making more of a show without the creator involved, against the creator's wishes. Unless Goose gives them his blessing, but in that case, it still would need to be better than the best episodes TADC had.
>>
>>
>>
>>153190658
Continue to sell dozens of merch as the main source of revenue, hire more 2D animation and downsize the 3D team (Gaslight District is their only 3D show now), and pray for Jesus to bless them with another smash hit containing a marketable cast.

>>
>>153224809
>>153224997
Everything Glitch made before TADC is garbage, and TADC ain't even that good.
>>
>>153225038
I think Murder Drones is better than TADC, objectively it is where they started picking up some rapid steam as an indie studio. But you do you. Regardless, I think they'll do fine after TADC. They've built up enough goodwill and a common fanbase dor all their shows that as long as the future shows get at least 10 million views per episode Glitch will be all good. They don't need internet breaking hits.
