Tribal sacrifice makes a lot of people uncomfortable, especially in the West. I have seen more of it in Japan, but often it's hilichurls, orcs and goblins.

Satanic sacrifices and Dolcett stuff is more common, I think. There are guys like Covert-Operations on DeviantArt who does jungle girl peril, but that's a very Western artstyle.
