You know, I think if he had a simple machine that did xylophone and a couple of drums, he could go on tour as the percussion and take a Chapman stick player, a violin/horn player, that would give him a 3-man, 4 instrument band. He could then play the tambourine, maraca, or harmonica as needed to give him something to do while he cranks the machine.
