Give me one(1) good reason to not buy an abandoned renaissance faire and make a subdivision for theater kids.

they will subvert your authority, invite unreputable people and use your property for their own communist-tinged political agendas. and that's only the fun part.

Theatre kids are tucking weirdos...
>>

Damn auto correct... Tried typing fucking weirdos and it auto corrected it to tucking weirdos, which might actually be a more precise description of theatre kids.

Both accurate. I like them though.

I’m ok with this outcome

I looked up the listing and the taxes are ONE HUNDRED and ELEVEN fucking GRAND a year. The estimated value is four million. It is selling for a dollar. Either that place has a king's ransom in back taxes owed or there is a previously undiscovered mass Indian burial ground waiting to suck the whole fucking place into another dimension.

Does the land come with it?
>>
>>2978629
This. How many acres is it and where is it located? Why are the taxes so ridiculously high?
>>
Not OP.
>>2978629
Yes.
>>2978642
80 acres in Maryland. Taxes is about 2.5% of the lands estimated value, which seems normal to me for commercial property.

There are already far better larp camps than you could ever recreate yourself, you are behind by years if not decades.

How does that even work? They sell you debt for a dollar?
Can't you go to the local authorities and strike a
>look i'll clean it up, but you have to give me a white start
deal?
>>
>>2978656
>normal for commercial property
>some paper boxes in some bumfuck forest
And people wonder why we can't have nice things anymore. Think boomers called it "commercial property" when they painted some cardboard blue and white, probably while being drunk?

first mistake is thinking that government is some sort of rational entity. Bureaucrats do not care about logic, reason, or end results. They only care about process. Throw in an entitlement complex of thinking they deserve every cent out of you, and they will gladly sit on a blighted eyesore that brings down the community and collect no money on it for over a decade before they give up on the hope of passing a years back taxes on someone else.

>invite unreputable people
It is a renaissance faire, unreputable people are those who don't talk in ye olde English.

It's no good
