I'm going through the LNs just because at this rate I'll likely never see the end if I wait for the anime. Never bothered with LNs until now. I was mad when I found out the manga is behind the anime somehow. I guess that's a thing nowadays.

The manga kind of irrelevant at this point. did you read the roxy prequel manga? I personally think
the cliff kirk audiobooks on audible are the best version of mushoku tensei. I say this haven't read and watched everything i even played the shitty games.
