So name some stores that have decent quality shit that don't ask 100 dollars/euros for a plain ~150 gsm t-shirt

i live in japan and uniqlo covers all my basics (except socks, they top out at 27cm and i'm 31cm, i bought a pair just because they were dirt cheap to see if i can make it work and they lasted about a week before they ripped). decent boxers and tanktops though, and their athletic gear is actually insanely good for the price.
hate their cotton though, it's too stiff, and airism just feels way too fake. people here swear by heat tech but i like layering in the winter so i've never tried it
that said i can buy a full, cheap, custom sized 2 piece uniqlo suit here for ~12,000 yen and i'm sure something like that would cost $150+ at american Uniqulo which is just lol

I got my kid a full wardrobe at Uniqlo for the semester, and since it's all going to a donation box in six months, that's all it needs to be. Do you remember what it was like to get bigger and stronger each day, anon?

Not sure whether their quality improved, but like ten years ago I bought some stuff from them. I remember a pair of Rick-like dropcrotch shorts and two long sleeve layering shirts.
Had to go for size L with the shorts even though I was skinny as shit.
The shorts ripped after just a couple of wears and both of the long sleeves completely lost their shape and got really loose around the wrists.
Never went back there again, but if you are happy, then good for you.

If you guys go to school and study something worth a shit you won't have to shuck and jive with this "for the price" business. I have faith in you. You can do it.

I bout that one, yes. A collar loose enough to fit Daddy Wide-Neck.

*Bought* not bout, oops.
To make clear, I hate it. I don't know if you mean by tuff, it's nice.
I bought small, though oversized, I figured the Jap-sizing means it would be a medium at most.
Nope, this Nordic "JWA" fag made it unwearable in polite company.

Zara always been extremely hit or miss.
Had really cheap jeans from them that lasted 6 years+ while others disintegrated in less than 1 year.
They used to have this premium denim line for jackets back in like ~2017 and the quality was top tier, I own 2 of them and they're in great condition.

zara is great if you know what you're looking at - some of the stuff is shit coz the material is shit.
plus they provide cheap lookalikes of trending high fashion, if you need to stunt on people for cheap it's great esp for secondary layers

Uniqlo is good for basics, thermals and nothing else.
The problem is that they are on their way to do basics poorly, too. Underwear last less, weird colours for tees instead of the ones that are easy wins, and for dumb shit like chinos the cut is just plain weird.
Uniqlo is still my go to when I need tees and I go 3 colours, 2 of each, or socks. Or thermal clothes. Or a puffer. Everything else sucks ass.

Zara, H&M is thrash. Bought a corduroy trench coat from Zara and the material was so thin that the jacket broke on the first day.

Some stuff is just not worth paying a premium for. I got a bundle of black socks a decade ago at an H&M that were like 20 pairs for 10€ and they're still in great shape, while I've gotten far more expensive socks since that have developed holes in them.

I work at uniqlo
my favorite items
>cashmere half zip and crew neck
>linen blend pants
>linen blend shirt
>airism and supima tees
>wide straight denim pants
>wide jogger pants (for at home)
I wouldn't buy as much from there if I didn't get a staff discount. sometimes, like every 6 months i think, we get free shit too
I will say a lot of the items are really bland or made of materials I'd rather not wear (polyester).

Uniqlo is a good brand for essentials you larping nigger. Just because you pay more for something doesn't mean it's better. Most clothes are not even worth 1/10th of their price because their prices are highly marked up. Clothing brands enjoy some of the highest profit margins out of any industry for a reason.

If you have any brain and self-respect and aren't a nigger brained consoomer, then you wouldn't waste your money on shit that's not worth the price, no matter how rich you are. By purchasing an overpriced inferior product you're not only getting swindled but are also demeaning yourself, AND enabling the flooding of the market with shitty overpriced products. Millionaires and billionaires don't get where they are by wasting money on retarded bullshit. An intelligent consumer is a discerning buyer who holds businesses accountable by voting with his wallet.
