I enjoy playing dress up but I don't really have anywhere to go, so I usually just go to the cinema on weekdays, usually late at night, so there's nobody there to notice how I'm dressed.
Several times I've been invited to weddings and other places where I could go out on the suits, I have a few linen ones, well made, fit me really well. This is something that other people notice, you'll have one or two guys wearing custom suits too, others who can't afford but know about it, and most men wearing $100 stuff they got at the mall. I've noticed women in relationships don't really like that. My girlfriend at the time didn't enjoy my suit getting comments, "found it weird" when she noticed how men knew how much work and thought had to go in that.
Honestly, I don't really know why they're like that, it just happens.
