ranjeet might not know this but it's actually a sign of crassness to use 'fancy' words out of context. The proceeding starts with slang, and using a multisyllable word in place of a simpler word that flows better lacks elegance.

it's just jarring to see that word in that sentence. I'm not hating on using fancy words either, but the way its used here suggests "word of the day" learning.

It's jarring because it's a lowercase poster. All of them are mentally retarded. It feels out of place like when a black guy tries using a word he heard from a rapper and pronounces it with a syllable by syllable cadence as though it were difficult to fit such a word in his mouth. Nothing is wrong with using the word itself.
