My experience too. So many of the younger guard of millenials dress young to seem hip. And also some geriatric millenials and late gen X-ers in a state of crisis try to dress hip and urban. The older bunch mix athleisure with those slutty outfits and scanty party-dresses only the most base and ill-bred zoomettes wear. The aforementioned younger-millenials who want to seem hip wear all the trendy zoomette alt-girl outfits and all that bullshit, and also the slut party dresses and lace and all that.
But zoomers are the ones proactive enough to even consider taking on old-money, dark academia, and nice twee put-together looks. Of course that's a small share who are proactive and decent like this. But millennials didn't use the aesthetic measures to reinstate trad-values. Millennials, the elder bunch, who are on the hull rather responsible and not utter cat-ladies, do deserve credit in that they actually started families though. Small ones, yes, but fruit all the same.
But zoomers are so nebulous a generation with respect to style. Lots of highlights, lots of atrocities. Beats mediocrity and despondency though.
