Privacy display, more storage and the elite chip were enough for me. AI shit is a meme though.

androids are a joke, i used to listen to what /g/ said and after 5 years of switching different android phones and going through various boot loops and battery failures i switched to iphone and everything just worked
the thing that made me quit was a flagship samsung phone for 1k+ dollars just bloated its battery and gave up. i'm too old for that kind of indian engineering

now that everything is known about s26 ultra, can you guys tell me is it worth getting over s25 ultra?
s25u is 900€ where i live for the version i want. im still deciding between it and op15. i prefer bigger battery and slightly smaller size of the OP and i find everything else better on samsung

nta, but I don't care.
As long as Sammy isn't using Exyshit in Korea or USA at the same time as the rest of world in the S-series models, I will not buy them. There is a reason they are not using it in their home markets they know about but aren't telling.

not him but it's a time issue. I used to jailbreak my phones and get a command line running on iphone, and I used to put custom ROMs on my androids and now I just don't give a shit. I have a successful career and fulfilling hobbies and I don't want to fuck with my phone settings anymore

>downgrade to aluminum with semingly no reason besides copying apple for the sake of copying them
is this a joke? I get Apple processors are housefires and titanium just throttled them but Samsung never had this issue
btw wtf is this new awfully retarded captcha system, pic related makes no fucking sense, wtf hiro it took me 10 minutes to solve it

I want some cool dark blue or green one
Or even something that is randomly patterned in two colors
Or why don't they try some cool new things like Nothing phone with the leds embedded in the cover and some transparency
They always go for this superminimalistic one-color look
HTC used to have some awesome ideas on how to make a phone design. They had those aluminum unibodies that looked sculpted. Or that had hues with some accents on the ridges.
Samsung makes decent phones but they're really bland and boring. Not to mention so bloated, which doesn't bother me that much as I disable most of their apps

Damn bro, how did you pull that off? Trade-in or points? I can't wait for my S26 Ultra and Buds. I’m getting annoyed carrying my headphones around, and my Note 20 Ultra is boot-looping, so I’ve been using my mate's S10 lol.

I will keep my S24U until it dies. The last model to have the bluetooth pen.
>>
>>
>>108239798
This. S23U is a solid and almost perfect device - not upgrading mine till either
1. it dies and can't be repaired
2. security updates run out
3. they make some ultra serious upgrades that i can resist in a future model.

plan on running my S8 until its battery dies completely or it gets completely fucked.
It just works
>>
>>108260713
I had an S8+ for like ten years and switched to a Note 20 Ultra because my S8 could only read pdf files super slow and it got embarrassing trying to read a theme park map on it.
I don't think I'll upgrade again. 6 years of incremental upgrades and removing features since, and shoving shit in that I don't need like foldable screens and integrated AIs. I'm good.

AI on Samsung phones is great contrary to what people say ITT.
I bought my s25+ 256GB last year for 749 euros and AI is really useful if you need to take a pic and ask Gemini or ChatGPT to edit it (both are integrated to the phone especially Gemini), i've done this to swap the fabric color on furnitures, ChatGPT is a bit slower but Gemini edits the pics in seconds in reasoning mode.
Also you can take a pic of an object with a foreign language and select the text to instantly translate it (and the translation is not bad), or you can select something on a pic with your fingers and delete the thing from the pic or edit it.
Then there's Samsung Bixby Vision that can detect color and name them, it can describe a scene in real time (no need to take a pic), useful for those that don't see well.
Protip : women love it when you edit pics with AI and are pretty impressed (not pics of themselves obviously), especially if it's women things like furniture, decoration,etc...
Overall AI that is integrated to smartphones is a good social tool for IRL encounters.
Also FUCK apple, i was forced to manually edit pics sent from igoys to .png because ChatGPT doesn't work with the jeet .heic extension that itoddlers use.

>drag the slider to the left to read the instructions to pass the humiliation ritual
It says to pick the one that's different, but which parameters to be different does it account for?
I've tried counting the thin lines, the thin lines position, am I dumb or is it just that one of them points to a figure and I haven't noticed?
>>
>>108246996
After using FaceID you'd be envious. Samsung's face scanner and fingerprint reader doesn't even come close. Fingerprint readers are shit if you work with your hands since it just stops reading your print unless you add a new one, which is a nuisance.

Not as blatantly. I'll stick with the Koreans.

I got the new Buds 4 Pro because my Buds 2 Pro battery has issues now. Is it even worth upgrading from the S23U? My only complaint is my inability to have a screen protector on it. The curved screen looked premium before, but it's annoying finding a screen protector. Dome glass are garbage because they need to be glued on and those soft gel-like protectors are shit when using the spen. I'd switch to Apple, but I play garbage gacha in both the JP and the global region, and I'm sure that's not possible or very inconvenient to be done with Apple devices.

ive said it before the ultra s24 is basically my perfect phone the style is perfect no rounded bullshit corners or glass minimal high refresh rate (not 120hz). The only thing that would actually get me to change is magsafe magnetic shit and samsung refuses to add it. i really like the privacy screen shit but no magsafe no buy.

changing background wallpaper isn't "tinkering"
do you think skyrim coomers get to call themselves "tinkerers" because they consoom lewd mods?

Think of how much you use your phone. How many times you pick it up in a day. Would you rather have something nice that runs fast and is supported for a long time or a $99 Walmart special phone that was abandoned before you even got it?
It's kind of like other EDC items, you could use a cheap wallet and it might be ok (although you might get askew looks), or you could get something nice that you like and lasts longer. Depends on your priorities I guess.

I thought you wanted a headphone jack and a removable battery? What other system has these? Not ios for sure.
