From what I could tell, presets made for 2.5 and (even more) 3.0, works bad with it.
It seems to me that 3.1 responds pretty well to personification, that is giving it a Writer Persona. If you want to make a preset of 3.1 I believe you should make something pretty light. Also, 3.1 is fairly filthy by itself, I don't think it need any overwrought NSFW rules.

Yeah, Koomi has its moments and a bit more style than GLM, but I just wish it was a bit smarter and less forgetful (and that's AFTER it pumps out like 1k long thinking having an entire battle plan and a brainstorm about how to draft a reply).

If I was a bit less lazy, I'd check if it's possible to repurpose one of those old dual presets to have GLM start the job and then pass it to Kimi for fluffing it up (or maybe the other way). GLM is generally "smarter", but a lot more dry unless you specifically ask it not to be (or just directormaxx) or prefeed it with a lot of more juicy context, so I feel like the two of them in a tandem could reach a nice balance and such a double prompt would probably still cost like 1/10th of a single Opus 4.6 reply.

Now if only was there a provider for both of those chinkslops that was stable and fast, so that you could reliably get a complete reply in under 20s.
