They need Claude to write the press releases and coming up with the mental gymnastics to excuse it

They will not ask it directly. They will try to ask Claude questions unrelated to the war, that could indirectly lead to an advantage. Disguising yourself as someone who just wants to discuss politics can easily let through details.

>But why didn't Anthropic cut access?
why would they? anthropic never had issues with this type of use.
amodei is not some tree-hugging hippie - the guy is a hawk, he just has a red line re: domestic surveillance. the autonomous kill thing isn't even a red line - it's just a

they have no interest in signalling this.
it's likelier he's going to congratulate trump for taking down khomeni and then ask him to nuke xi
dario still wants those defense contracts, they're worth far more than a few subs
>so why should they still help them? - no pay no access
it's likely they've already been paid + they're not banned for the next 6 months aka still plenty of time for them to maneuver back into the good graces of the dod
again, these people aren't who you think they are
dario is a flag waving, murrca-is-the-best, kill-all-the-dictators type

Lol these kinds of operations take months to plan. What do you really expect to happen when the president bans a tool hors before an open takes place. Of course they're going to disregard it and just take the reprimand.
It should be noted that Trump didn't create a new law, it's an order. The commander in chief issues orders to their subordinates much like any military person in the chain if command. If the order is disregarded it's just disobeying orders.

wow anthropic were such victims here, all they want is for AI to be safe, i fully stand behind anthropic on this one, they would never do something like allow the israeli military to use their services to bomb civilians :^)
>>
>>108267623
How?
How are they using Claude for this? Do they use it to brainstorm scenarios? Do they set Claude Code in YOLO mode and ask it to bomb Iran? Do they ask him to pick the targets on a map? How are they using it?

correlating diverse network metadata (DNS resolution, netflow collection, source/destination) to build profiles and discover intent beyond simple regex matching. You can do something that requires far, far less manual intervention for 'investigations' as long as you get enough data.
Fucking simple really, but you're just a retard.

Uh? It would need to have been the opposite way around for it to be treason, and even then. What it is is a great marketing tool for Anthropic though; they had Grok, ChatGPT, and so on, but they still went with Anthropic over the products of all other CEOs who groveled and bent the knee.
Is there proof that the others were used as well, or just Claude? What is the initial source of this information, Anthropic?

>It would need to have been the opposite way around for it to be treason,
The military conducting a strike against the president's orders isn't treason but a president ordering a ban on something after a strike using it would be?
>>
>>
>>108272409
No, I mean, I don't see why you assume that the military strike was conducted against the president's orders in any way? Unless you take the public statement that was tweeted at face value, but I strongly doubt that anything related to this strike was done against the current administration's orders.
If Anthropic had helped the country's enemy or had otherwise interfered or sabotaged anything in retaliation, that could have been seen as treason, that's what I meant, but this is your government choosing to use a tool, I failed to see how you construed that as treason.
