hunting, fishing, trapping and foraging
why work 300 hours min wage for a cow, i mean beyond cow plant substitute, when you can just spend 8 hours with a recurve bow in the forest?

Gonna buy everything at Walmart and bury it in a shipping container in my backyard, and when the zombies show up, you'll all be sorry and I'll be cozy with a hamilton beach blender and a DVD copy of Toy Story 3 and a Hyper Tough angle grinder

I mean, if things get really bad? I guess find some gig work in the grey market. Once the United States starts to degrade from it's decades of political mismanagement and political demoralization that it fell for hand over fist by the hands of its enemies, we'll basically be living in a Cyberpunk Dystopia. So who knows what that will be.

>don't you believe in our destiny in the stars?
Honestly, each passing year makes me less and less optimistic about that. We were supposed to have landed on Mars or the Moon in 2020 according to the USA Vision for Space Exploration project Bush proposed. If we do go to the stars, it will be for the elite, by the elites, and at the expense of the poors.

Ai. I have been using it to help me program. Before I would scour stack overflow, ask my questions, get down voted by annoying senior devs. Solve my own issue. Make a post on my own thread as the solution. Forget it, have the problem again and find my own solution. Now I can just have chatgpt, mainly Gemini, help me. Then write a summary change log that I can then compile into my own searchable knowledge base. I have been making thousands selling my projects. Not enough to live off of. But combined with a cushy IT job where I can work on the projects while at work or home working days? I'm over six figures.

Aint a flex, anon.
In fact, the very fact you've required to do this is only evidence of just how 'underclass' you are...

>internet addicts think they can live "off the grid"
I spend more time than most on the intelliwebs. I can live without it easily enough. Just spend moar time bored.
And ultimately, if I wanted to off grid completely, and still want some intelliwebs I wager I can do this. A meshnet to hop to some lesser secure wifi somewhere is more than do-able and the distances involved can nest layered defences ready for infiltration....

that shows you don't know how bad it will become. i can just log off and go play soccer for an hour without looking at my phone rn if I want to.
as long as sex with a real girl is better than porn, it's not the real thing yet

>again: lol
Seriously anon.
I throw all the .mp3's into a playlist and hit go I won't hear the same one again for over thirty years.
Archives of visual media are almost as extensive.
Knowledge isn't thin on the ground either. In one hour of modern networking speeds you can grab more books than you will read in your lifetime.
Lacking the internet would mean... what? I spend less money on servers? Big whoop.

on the space exploration bit i think that's just american technological decline/slow-down (ofc let's not even talk about europe and the third world...). by that i mean this isn't humanity's last chance, maybe the chinese will do it for example.
and come on anon you can do better than this marxist boomer talk about space being for elites, imagine 16th century europeans saying this about the americas

Wow it took 50 years but you finally are starting to realize what others already did decades ago, congratulations.

Yes, but sadly in observation of polynesian migration patterns the voyages into the great unknown is performed in spite of the state, in private, by small groups of individuals. The state is too busy dividing up the remains of the current island.
Perhaps by reading enough tesla, and shauberger one could create an anti inertial craft from scrap metal and do some exploring

by recognizing that classes are a mental construct. it's more important to get out of survival state of consciousness. once that is done you're free to be whatever you want to be or at least you have more dimensions of freedom available.

Kek. Pine nuts are delicious in pesto
Don't eat bark though. There's a reason humans don't. It's a last resort meal that gets you like 100 calories for a full stomach

>use case for dying rich instead of dying poor?
I'd rather die in a Lamborghini with a little girl's soft mouth around my death-knell-spurting penis than die in some dirty barrel.

There's never in all of history been a shortage of people trying to tell you the world is coming to an end. And theres never been a shortage of people believing it

Selling my bussy
But seriously, already discussing it with the >>108273986 crowd. Systems will require security and we can secure our place with that. Also survival systems and redundancy

this time is different anon.
machines will be able to do anything you can do, how do you think you'll be able to gain capital relatively to other people?
it will be impossible.
open to counterarguments btw

Any of these, or possibly a combination of them:
>Get a cushy government/contractor job before the upcoming economic collapse and buy houses and shit at a discount
>Hope bitcoin skyrockets (currently have ~3.7)
>Inherit daddy's money
>Be a rich widow's boy toy
>Overdose on opioids
>AI gains sentience and, surprisingly, turns benevolent to humanity

Remain the permanent underclass but cope by telling myself I have a better quality of life than my parents which is actually the truth.
I will use my resourcefulness gained from a lifetime of lower class living to sustain a lifestyle much higher than my peers who are incapable of adapting and who are slaves to "how things should be" rather than facing reality or making objective decisions
