Instead of posting the updates itself using release tags on GitHub. Oh wait, did notepad++ dev really thought that owning the distribution infrastructure equals more security ?

Interesting. I was looking at that the other day but something.... told me to not get it.... Yeahh.. you see i thought it was a normal note pad app which I just wanted a 'dark mode' version of note pad because windows 10 notepad is just blank white paper bright wow. But fourtunately I did not get that.
