I recently helped a semi-tech literate coworker install Forge-neo for image generation on his laptop, and not only did he and his wife already have Windows 11 already installed (cringe, but I get it for normies) he didn't have adblock and he kept showing me youtube videos and I wanted to scream every time he opened one and a million preroll ads showed- I hadn't seen a YT ad in years until this since I live overseas.


Being someone who is only semi autistic, I gently nudged- "you know, there's this cool extension called ublock origin that would make it so you never have to see an ad again... takes less than a minute to install."
