The key that everyone seems to be ignoring is that, for an average customer, an Apple logo is something that makes it worth it to pay more to get worse specs. Why in the fuck are you comparing the MacBook Neo to Windows laptops? None of them have an Apple logo. Furthermore, average customers aren't going to buy used or refurbished laptops, so what you really should compare the MacBook Neo to is the current (new) MacBook Air with the M5 chip.

Literally the only use case for this is for garage band on a cheapish laptop, that is not intel lol

Then why even discuss this laptop and try to prove that there are supposedly better alternatives for lower prices? This laptop is clearly not meant for non-average consumers.

$600 disposable laptop made to die in two years is supposed to be a deal for some reason.
8GB, $$$ if you want more.
ridiculous storage, $$$ if you want more.
Retarded widescreen on a laptop made for webbrowsing and writing: absolutely retarded.
At least it doesn't have the fucking retarded notch in the screen like the others.

better specs, actually. a dell for the same price will have some dogshit resolution display, and if you drop it, the hinges will get misaligned and it will rip itself apart in 9 months. apple offers a good display and solid build quality.

None of the dell devices going back to 2017 that I've handled between last year and this year are in bad shape.
The hinges, keys, etc are all like new.

laptops are just shit in general to the point where some brick out of aluminium and a battery that doesn't die after 1-2 hours seems somewhat reasonable
