I would argue Linux is actually more simple than most options. Windows and Mac OS just abstract away what is actually happening under the hood so idiots think its simpler because its fisher-price tier point and click. This means if you ever want to do something different than the defaults someone else set, its incredibly difficult. Simple doesn't mean easy for retards to do baby tier stuff.
