I'm planning to cut a groove in the headphone stand (or just drill 3 holes for the cables) so I can put the audio interface in it, under the headphones.

That's okay, the tripods are all one piece but everything else can come apart, the tops of the tripods rotate so the desktop can be leveled easily as well.
The desktop itself is over 100lbs and just sits on top of the legs without anything actually attaching it to them.

My power bill was ~$215 for last month. Power bills are made up anyways. I've spent 10 years in my house improving things and getting energy effecient TVs and LED bulbs and all the the other stupid shit and my power has never gotten cheaper. If your wall isn't too wide and deep just buy lumber, make some wall cleats and then a sheet of plywood veneer edge to edge. No more legs. Obviously if it's really long you'll need cabinets or something in the middle.

I just use it as a daily computer really. Samsung's OneUI has titlebar support out of the box as long as you drag the application to the center of the screen to open it as a window, and the dock is the Edge panel, which is close enough to a taskbar/dock and also comes with OneUI out of the box, no need for DeX.

I have a son now and he's going to need his own room soon, which is now my office, so I'm converting a 5.5'x5.5' hallway closet into an office. Going to use hanging wall racks (I need like 16U of rack space for work stuff) and just deal with less space. Hopefully it's not too tight but it is what it is.

That's going to be hot af. Make sure you focus on ventilation before all the other things (like two wall sconces) you'd be better off with a lighting strip in the shelving.
>>
>>108565018
Thanks, that gray box with the slats is the HVAC getting run to it. Like a 4" duct. Also the pocket door can be open most of the time, maybe for a call or something I'd close it if my kid is watching cartoons. I'll look into some light strips thanks! The sconces might get in the way anyways.

It didn't exist for long but ZON was the brand HeatoN (e-sports CS dude from Sweden) created and sold. Actually high quality stuff, less aimed at gamer kids and more aimed at adults looking for quality without paying for premium prices for big brands. Both keyboard and mouse is the same brand. It only ran for about 3-4 years but they have a pretty big fan base here in Sweden.

I mean it's literally my job. Agencies have to send in proper legal documentation to request whatever records they are looking for then they have to submit to evidence as matter of fact. So if you sat in a forum looking for something you'd have to subpoena 4chan or whoever to get the post data showing who posted it then they'd continue on down that line to get accurate data from your ISP or whoever. Just using a VPN basically makes everything a moot point as far as evidence goes.

I bought an Ikea desk and legs ages ago when I first got a job and moved into my own place, now I own a house and I want a better desk. I think I'm gonna get a big bit of butcher block countertop as a desk top, but I'm not sure what to do for the legs. I do think my Ikea legs seem okay, they are Olov, but the maximum recommended weight is only 13kg. Does anyone have any other recommendation for legs? I don't think I want to take up loads of space with something wide like the big I shaped ones.

You should rotate 30 minutes of sitting with 15 minutes of standing. Never sit longer than 30 minutes or you will destroy your spine over time, no matter which chair you use. Never stand longer than about 20 minutes, or you will destroy your knees and leg veins over time. Invest in a sit stand desk and an ergonomic chair. Better get an IKEA office chair and a good desk rather than the opposite.

32 inch 1366x768 with va panel and direct led 60hz cheapie tv good enough if I turn on 4:4:4, 0 -255 range and pc mode ? how far do I need to sit, I only like using mouse and keyboard.
ppi seems goober tier. I would not use this for windows os stuff at all though, just playing older games on my aging pc now that my 20 year old monitor has gotten a more yellow tint from ccfl.... this would sit at my desk, a bit beyond arm's reach
I got laptops to work on
I can get it for free (among other stuff) from my isp because of contract renewal etc.

I'm thinking of building a budget laptop desk setup for work and personal stuff, since my work isn't very demanding hardware wise. I've been looking at used laptops in good condition that are good enough when running lightweight Linux distros and/or DEs, a desk 27' monitor, monitor arm, laptop stand, one of the cheaper ergonomic chairs I could find, vertical mouse, mechanical keyboard with some RGB for when I use it at night, a mouse pad for both the mouse and keyboard, a cable management tray, fake plants, and I already have this Aurora Borealis lamp I like (Aurora Borealis? In this time of year? In this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your home office? Yes.) and controllers to enjoy some light emulation. Am I missing anything crucial? Any recommendations for those with a similar setup?

honestly, if you dont plan on taking your laptop with you, and have space id recommend you just get an used office desktop PC.
Having used laptop as my main work pc during uni with all the extra bits and bobs sucked. It also sucked more because for uni needs id have to take it with me, so it got annoying unplugging and re plugging everything almost daily.
Sadly dont have more recent photos of the setup as it grew.
also what about the usb mic?

A) Another Battlestation anon has the same stuffed fennec in his pictures. I keep mine on the desk when I take pictures as a quiet handshake.
B) There's foxes all over my desk. I take a lot of fox pictures and do photography editing on the left PC. People give me a lot of fox stuff.

My chair is green and I have lots of other green accents in my house like bedding and couch/chairs. And I live in a log cabin in the mountains there's enough green outside too.
And its a Dell S2722DGM curved primary monitor, and BenQ GW2283 secondary vertical monitor.

Have you actually tried? trace.moe is pretty intolerant of distortion and cropped images. It also doesn't have most anime from the 90s and prior.
Every single perspective-corrected image I uploaded had completely different result, with guesses including Yu-Gi-Oh!, Paprika, gd Men and Madoka.

New monitor, after a few years of research I ended up with this Dell UltraSharp U2725QE, it a really aesthetic frame from the front very thin bezels at all sides, including the bottom
However because of the outward bending shape of the rear, it does not seem like you can mount a webcam on it easily. I considered the apple studio display because it has an integrated webcam, without making your monitor look even more bloated with external webcam and even more cables. Not sure if apple studio display is worth over 3 times the cost of this monitor I have in front of me

front bezels aesthetics are real, I thought it was photoshopped

also, somewhat of an unfortunate choice of port placement of those ports you would use all the time (power and internet), completely at the outer sides and pointing down. I prefer how ben-q does it
