depends on what you want to make. z-image is prob the most popular general model, but flux klein is good too. anima has been popular for anime/2d stuff but people are still using illustrious mixes too. different tools available for different things

I just treat it as a sort of a magic box of "I could come up with something and let it appear" without any particular focus and I kinda prefer the minimal extra stuff approach, so a general model for me should be able to at least pull off some nudes without me having to install 20 loras. always remember, llm's token probability paths are dictacted by what has the most "weight" in its data. it'll always fall back to the mean.
gemma4 has even more "conversational skills" than qwen too and imo better "visual" abilities too

chatgpt or claude, you get what you pay for :) on a more serious note all llms are kinda stupid so idk if that leo thing can do web searches, but whenever one starts to double down on something i tell them to just search google and then they're like "ohhhhh you're absolutely right". it happens with the big lab models too but i think they have some fancy tooling where they'll search automatically so i haven't had that happen in a while.

What you put together looks lovely. I will at some point check those things out. I am a HUGE fan of ascii and ansi and want to make ai art of it consistantly. my goto is variants and forms of pixel and game graphics. set off trying to emulate the dreamcast vmu graphics (that led to some interesting stuff also).
but for now anything comes down to weak rig use online. so perchance is where most of my mad science takes place.
And than it got into some very fun stuff. I'll post some of the things ive got into lately with more graphics and game systems and playing around. nothing fancy but it gets into things I want to do with ai art.

thanks :) as long as you're having fun! i've only played with perchance very briefly. surprisingly more tolerant of "spicy" gens than i'd expect from a free service. its a pity gpus are so expensive now, comfy+local models lets you do a lot of mad science!

I am having a ton of fun. I do high res stuff for many reasons but I really enjoy this kind of stuff. And than I can apply it to the image gen of a chatbot I use on perchance and even better.

Right now my current project is trying to force it as close to the atari 2600 graphics as possible along with a few other older systems and those graphics. I also have been working with the Game Boy and it's system and colors (post one of those next).
