>Not sure what private trackers are all about?
A private tracker is an invite-only torrent website. Each member shares common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media.

>It doesn't matter if you use the same username in different trackers, the staff still share your IP with each other.
>Staff is reading, being /marked/ is not a meme, and even if it is, it isn't.
>Don't ask for invites, it's private for a reason.
>If starting out you should interview for RED, rank to Torrent Master, wait on account age, and get invites from there. THAT'S IT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO

Join RED, rank up to power user and wait 12 months to get AB. Or rank up to elite user and you'll "only" have to wait 6 months. You can also join BBT after becoming power user on RED, or just take the BBT interview.

Western children's cartoon, avatar the last airbender. Wildly popular with westerners and has a big fanbase. 10 years after the last project they made a movie that's supposed to release theatrically in October, but Paramount can't into security so some leakers got the finished film. They keep having massive breaches but that's another story. The leaker is probably memeing and won't actually release it widely. A few people have seen it already.

Calm down public shitter. People who hoard unreleased material in private aren't usually keen on leaking it all to the public right away. It happens when they get in petty arguments with each other or someone just decides they want to do it because they have nothing to lose. Trackers like PTP don't accept this kind of material anyway.

Actually never mind my question.
Just lost my only seedbox I'm too mad and busy to bother with restoring all the lost data. My latest backup's a couple years old and doesn't have the config so sifting through torrents and re-assigning paths is probably just going to take several times longer than just re-downloading everything en masse. Maybe I'll think about it again in a few months.

That's a good question... This would actually be a valuable tracker instead of the dozen unit3d movie trackers. Ask proton is he's willing to start a side project, since he keeps posting gore in the AB IRC.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>108600123
gore does not elicit positive reactions
when a person sees gore, they're shocked, disgusted, disturbed, and they may go back for the visceral sensation but it doesn't usually give a positive feeling
cunny on the other hand is positive, if the majority of people can masturbate to it then they receive lots of positive reinforcement
lenience on sexuality makes degeneracy go up

Lmao you think you're winning an argument on the internet while you're falling for the old how do you keep an idiot busy trick. I could do this for hours because your time has absolutely no value. You are desperate to win an argument which is no longer about x265 and has now become about who gets the last reply so you get strung along like the waste of oxygen you are. If I am then why are you wasting your time replying to me? Life has infinite possibilities. There are a lot of things you could be doing other than talking to me. But you're talking to me. I think that's really funny. I also think it's even funnier to pretend like I'm not aware of what that implies about myself. Who cares if we both look retarded as long as you look retarded?

I agree. That's why I don't even watch movies or TV shows or anime anymore. I watch the streams of asmongold, clavicular, xqc, ishowspeed, and mrbeast videos all day long. Living my life vicariously through theirs means I'm living it to the fullest. But truthfully speaking it would be just the same if I closed the laptop lid and stared at the ceiling all day long. I would feel just the same.

I've started regularly uploading stuff to Avistaz, content that was not on the website and that I found here and there. Is there any chance I get noticed and someone invites me to a cabal tracker. I've already have 300+ uploads and dozens of TBs of upload in a few months on the site. Or realistically, is there like a number of uploads that would be enough? 1000? 2000? Or any path through there?

thinking about it, v2 torrents would work really nicely with a hybrid torrent/streaming site
v2 lets you seed individual files from a single torrent, i.e. if you you're seeding a 12 episode series and someone has episode 2 in a separate torrent you can seed it even though the torrents are different
this would be really nice for manga where you could upload chapters separately then have an automatically generated torrent that batches all of them into one
and then with webtorrent, you could download it on your browser and read it, the ultimate site

The redtopia dump was 5.7TB of music. I already have 1TB of FLAC/DSD in my own collection. At what point should I release it all as a dump to the public? Should I aim to build a collection (of music that is of interest to me, of course) of a similar size and publicly release it?

Almost everything on Omicron 2020-2024 has been deleted, unless content (the uploaded articles) meet some vague "popularity" guidelines. People have been asking what those are but providers aren't willing to explain. So yeah,
>>108612065
is right even though it's probably even less than 2 years. Entire archives have been wiped exactly due to fags using Usenet as essentially-free backup storage. It's not really surprising the entire thing is imploding before our eyes when an account can be gotten for 2 bucks a month, which doesn't nearly cover the cost of half a PB of data every single day.

I've just read the specs and turns out I was wrong, v2 is a lot more disappointing
I thought v2 meant you could cross-seed from different swarms as long as the file was the same but turns out that's not it... Sad!
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>108612751
you're thinking backwards, just think about it
if v2 worked the way I thought it would, you could've done shit like generating torrent files that merge other torrents server side and then do cool shit like download the entire discography with only a single torrent and it'd connect to every seeder of every individual album
the only downside of it would be 100x more tracker requests, but as long as you drop ssl in the tracker you'd do that fine, I mean who even cares about listening in on the tracker-client packets, there's no sensitive data there
>>
>>
>>108614646
Well we can ingest DVB or other types of streams into an IPTV setup. I deal with that stuff at work. Also there are more than 3 IPTV services but almost none of them source the streams themselves. So the reseller scheme isn't the only ponzi scheme in the business. All these big IPTV providers are using services that only provide streams to providers, not to end users.
>>
I'm just gonna say it, Aither is way too stingy when it comes to giving out bonus points. Why the fuck would I ever download from you when BHD, PTP, and HDB are all increasingly generous when it comes to maintaining ratio? And obviously BTN is ratioless.

I am potentially interested in applying for RED via an interview, however I have some doubts. Could anyone please clarify:
1. How difficult it is to find and upload content there to meet the upload quantity criterion for unlocking the invite forum in light of apparently everything audio related allegedly being uploaded there on day 0?
2.
Is a for instance 1gb/1gb seedbox a must have to get any upload ratio at all, or does some home Internet connection suffice, if so, of what minimum ul/dl characteristics? Is port forwarding for maximum connectivity a must have?

In no way do I intend to be a leecher, as I understand the consequences of it, including the risk of losing an account, if anything, I want to discover if owning a seedbox is absolutely non-negotiable (pay2win), or some lesser quality home connection, possibly with port forwarding, suffices. Could you please address the 1st point too? Thank you.

Most of my uploads have been 100% log rips from Soulseek (use Nicotine+). There is more than enough stuff out there.
>Is a for instance 1gb/1gb seedbox a must have to get any upload ratio at all, or does some home Internet connection suffice, if so, of what minimum ul/dl characteristics? Is port forwarding for maximum connectivity a must have?
I have a >1 ratio and Elite by just filling requests. I have spent a total of $0 and I am not connectable. Look into doing requests before paying for a seedbox. It might be cheaper even if you're paying for requests.

Having a seedbox doesn't exactly need to be about pay2win. It hasn't helped my ratio that much but you can see I'm doing big numbers sharing to anybody who wants it on soulseek. On BTN/HDB/PTP ratio is so easy to come by that a seedbox doesn't even matter.
