to clarify the design here:
red + green are complimentary and the dead space enhances the framing while the rough, hand-drawn feel of the letters aligns to the silhouettes of the trees

I remade traced over the trees and used the bold weight of the font banschrift to make a template to trace over with vectors

If you're using adobe Illustrator, use the curve pens for the trees it's pretty fun

Here's my latest version. I think the font goes nicely with the rest of the crest. I changed the white to a very light ivory and added a castle ruin as you can see. Would you change/improve anything about it? I have no experience in logo making.
