My sensibilities aren't anything special, but I can talk about them. This applies to fantasy names only and is mostly influenced by eastern fiction. There's tons of information about Tolkien-esque naming on the internet which is more than enough to cover the western part as far as I'm concerned.
>Name Length
The absolute ideal is 3 or 4 syllables (or mora if youre a weeb). If longer, make sure there's a 2-3 syllable nickname. By convention, shorter names work for characters that aren't natural, such as homunculi, androids or the like, and pets and characters that develop from a pet or animal.
>Sounds
This one is really hard to summarize, because a character's design and personality can vary what sounds go well with it. Generally, for characters that are small and cute, you want softer sounds. Harsher sounds have a lot of nuance, but I usually leave it to male characters or specific archetypes of female characters. I personally like syllables ending in N and S. As I said before, æ is a very fantasy sounding sound, as are many Latin sounds. For female characters, -el/eru, en, s, n, na, among others are easy to use name enders if you want to throw sounds together.
>Word Names
Any singular word in any language that follows the length rules above generally makes for a fine name. Japanese and Chinese names are an exception. English is also an exception some times, but not all the time, generally not recommended as anything else than a nickname if you're planning to primarily write in English.

Japanese/Chinese are going to be for isekai'd characters(mostly JP) or far eastern themed characters, usually samurai, miko, kensei, kung-fu masters, etc. Best practice is to use actual names here, written in Katakana when in Japanese. Can also assign these to certain races like Oni.
European origins are much easier to use. Ideally you pick a general area for each region or race and use similar names per region. Find a word you like, search for its kanji form, find names with that kanji. Very easy.
For Kitsune specifically I recommend old fashioned names. Kanji names of course, but generally you want words for seasons and flowers, though concepts like peace and fortune aren't uncommon. The name ender "-ko" is also suggested. 2-3 syllables, no last name. Longer name if you want something more regal. Do not use Youko, that just means fox spirit/kitsune(妖狐).
That's what I'd do. I can suggest names/writings if you give me a feel for the character.

Benibara - 紅薔薇 Crimson Rose. Beni by itself is the name of the red makeup traditionally used by japanese women.
Kouren/Koren - 紅蓮 Crimson Lotus. Uses the same (Also the Guren in TTGL)
Benibana - 紅花 Safflower, or Crimson Flower if read literally. A Yellow(gold) flower that produces a red dye.
Ageha/Kureha/Kouyou/Momiji - 紅葉 Red Leaves, like those in autumn. For your character I like Kouyou, but this combination has a ton of ways of being read and I shared all the ones I think are good.

Other flower names
Miren - 美蓮 Beautiful Lotus
Gekka - 月花 Moon Flower
Shuuka - 秋華 Autumn Flower
Kazehana/Kazebana - 風花 Wind Flower when read literally, "when the wind scatters snowflakes" when read poetically
