AHHHHHH!!! I’VE READ THE KJV BIBLE INSTEAD OF THE CATHOLIC BIBLE. HOW WOULD I KNOW THE 14 APOCRYPHA BOOKS WERE CANON AND IMPORTANT?

"Apocrypha" is Greek for "doubtful", i.e. "some people think these books are part of the canon so they're included here for completeness' sake even though we don't necessarily agree".

See the Dead Sea Scrolls. Ask any secular biblical scholar about the earlier Septuagint and Vulgate translations used by the Catholic and Orthodox churches vs the later Masoretic Text that Luther favored when trying to determine which books were apocryphal. To make matters worse, Luther himself felt the apocryphal books were still second to the rest of the Bible and were important to read and study in as much as they do not contradict the other books.
