A war between two sovereign kingdoms is not a civil war.

It's the ultimate medieval Dunning–Kruger tell, someone reads something about the Norman conquest and suddenly they think they're an expert on national identity in the 14th century
Well that and shitposters.

The crux of the war was over the throne of France. Nationalism did not play a factor, it was purely about who got to take the French throne.

>Two French noble families fighting for Claim over the Crown of France
>not a civil war because one French dynasty uses its local angloid subjects as peasants and archers alongside its French Knight core.

Why does the ethnogenesis of the dynasty make it a civil war? If Boris Johnson (American citizen) had declared war on the United States while he was prime minister, would that have made it a civil war? Of course not.
And this is looking beyond the obvious point that all the contemporary chroniclers clearly distinguished between the English and French as separate peoples during the war.

Is your IQ so low that such a simple comparison is too much for you? Fine, let's do another one. If in the 14th century, Hungary and France went to war, would that be a civil war? Both kingdoms were ruled by the same French dynasty.

>it was purely about who got to take the French throne.
Then why wasn't Jean II forced to abdicate in favour of Edward III after he was captured in the Battle of Poitiers? Instead it was Edward III who renounced his claim to the French throne, in exchange for large territorial cession and a massive ransom, almost as if the supposed succession dispute was little more than a casus belli.

Typical of the gloid retard he gets caught up in semantics. Your hang up is the "civil war" term, yes?
Sure, if it was French man in Hungry and French man in France fighting for the crown of france, itd be a similar Medieval dynastic dispute. I would call it a civil war, but We dont have to call it a civil war if that triggers ur autism.
Reminder The UK is the most Autistic nation in Europe. Proven.

Your only hangup with the "civil war" is the implication that your angloid ancestors werent true belligerent ls in the Hundred years war. Merely fodder they were, which is true .
Yes the Plantagenet kings of England were Kings of England. But theyd slap the germanic/Celtoid muck off your face if you called thm "english".
Dont get confused, Bob.

lol what? This must be some cosmic level projection. My hang up with the term is that it's inaccurate pop history nonsense, and people who repeat that the HYW was a civil war have no idea what they're talking about
