Why isn’t North Africa as much as a shitshow as the Middle East in terms of extremism and general instability (barring Libya ofc)? Is it simply due to geography? I mean I know Algeria had a civil war in the 90s but that was resolved, in Syria and Iraq militants and factional groups still roam around, and you could make the argument that the extremists won in Syria’s case.

They pretty much are. Libya needs no explanation, Egypt had to fight ISIS who took some of its territory, Algeria had a brutal civil war with Islamists.

It's the same sort of mix you see in the Middle East, where you have stable countries like Jordan and instable ones.

How do you react to the information that an offshoot of your jatt ancestors wandered into iraq, sodomized Muhammad then became gypsies?

How do you react over the fact the nailed rabbi took in the hairy ass everyday from twinks in cruising sessions at public gardens?
How do you react over the fact Paul enjoyed being sodomized by demons with barbed dildos?

North Africa is overwhelmingly Sunni, around 95 to 100% Sunni, so religious minorities do not possess the demographic weight to destabilize any North African state.

Ethnically, the region is predominantly Arab around 80 and 95% depending on the country, so ethnic minorities likewise do not have the demographic size necessary to destabilize a North African country on their own.

There was one attempt by western to use minorities to destabilize Morocco (Rif Revolt) but it got crushed in a few months by Mohammed V and resulted in thousands of Berbers fleeing to Belgium and the Netherlands.

As for Libya, it is a special case, the conflict was tribal more than religious or ethnic.

Because maghrebis are very homogenous
They are 99 % arab-berbers (who became their own thing with the birth of maghrebi culture, arab speakers have a lot of berber elements in their culture/language and vice versa for the berber speakers) and that practise sunni islam
I actually think that they are the most sunni muslim people on the world per %

Egypt and Algeria largely succeeded in their fight against terrorism while countries like Syria and Lebanon (whether u consider Hezb “terror group” or non-gov militia) failed. Even the Arab spring demonstrations in Tunisia did not lead to mass violence like it did in the Middle East.

Yes, there's a certain country that's much further away from them.
