Even in places before Abrahamic ideals of modesty and colonialism, you'd generally find that women covered up more to some degree than men. Sure some societies did not stigmatize bare chests for women, but even then it's not unusual for common women to still wear skirts whereas common men would wear loincloths or practically nothing. That is until white man brought up his puritanical ways.

Which gets me wondering, what societies was it normal for women to wear less than men that aren't just based on statuses like exotic dancers or harlots? Besides the skin gap of 21st century westernized post-feminist/sexualized influences.

Because why the fuck would you want your wife/female relatives to dress like sluts ?

it was okay in pre-european societies because they actually have communities instead of treating each other as target prey like white people

Like any other animals, our bodies develop certain parts for sexual attraction, upon recognizing those, and understanding that women are the weaker sex, almost every single civilization understood that it was better to cover most of it up. Why would you walk with a cellphone out through a dangerous street?

Because breasts are sensitive organs and having them exposed is really incovenient, you can't work with them hanging around, whereas flat chests allow you to work more easy
