Um it's like kinda hard to find sources, and since it's a meme it's basically just everybody's art now or something, and like they probably aren't really making money from it... Have you ever considered just not being a bitch and just being thankful to the company for le exposure?

Seriously, why do people seem to go full "leave the [x] dollar company/celebrity alone" meme when it's an artist who's getting fucked over? Repost culture fucked up generations.

Memes are supposed to be inside jokes. You don't tell a joke and then explain what's funny about it but that's what you do when you credit the original artist.

That indie animation studio Glitch made some stickers they sent out with merch from their store as a form of extra surprise swag and one of the stickers was a drawing of one of their characters with big googly eyes that looks like some dumb meme that was apparently cycling around Twitter a few months ago of a stick figure with googly eyes so the person who drew the original started sperging out demanding money for it.
