Every single class except maths I had to take at the nautical academy could easily be justified as to why you will need it in the future in your job. Some things like meteorology went way too much into useless detail instead of important stuff but the people teaching it knew it and they were pretty lenient about it. If you are a good general, you will pay nothing there. Still, you pay taxes and the majority of taxes you pay is on the goods you buy from the local supermarket - it is the local shop, not NAP that collects the majority taxes you pay.
Thus you cannot really escape paying taxes - with some gypsy behavior you can cut taxes by 50% and with some balkan thinking you can cut 20-30% of them, but you cannot cut 100% of them.
The real deal is not to think how you can cut taxes, but how you can steal enough from the government so that your taxes are returned to you.
