2017 was the early stages of Indian hate with the whole PewDiePie vs T-series thing as well as the bobs and vagene memes. Since then, they've become 50x more hated and justifiably so. As of now, they really showed people why they deserve to be hated. From scamming to not respecting cultural norms of western countries to being toxic nationalists. There's many more reasons too.

Pewdiepie and all the reactionary allies killed YouTube.
If I had my way, and there were no laws.
They killed my favorite website.

There's an alternate universe where all the horny rapejeets invading the West are women, but we live in the gay universe.

I'm only saying that because in hindsight, they didn't seem as bad back in 2017 compared to the post covid era. People acted like they were the worst thing on the planet because they (including myself) didn't think they could get any worse.

That's probably true but indian immigration is not a new thing. They've been immigrating into america and canada since the 60's. And even earlier than that in the UK. Plus they didn't seem as toxic on twitter as they do now.

Yes. Americans put out content but Indians always promoted their own version of what we put out. They take over our best companies and ruin them. The comment sections are anti-American. They censor us and it was proven in an undercover Project Veritas video.

Yes it is, especially the MASSIVE wave we've seen since COVID.
The stereotype of Indian Americans pre-COVID is that they were an eccentric but endearing group of people with a "weird" culture that nonetheless tended to be intelligent, educated, and often wealthy.
Since the massive wave of them came online in the late 10s because of Jio and we then got a huge new wave of them around COVID and after in the U.S and other countries (especially the Commonwealth) however everything changed and everybody has all agreed that they're tied only with Jews as the most hated group of people in the country and world given all the worst Indians have been sharted out into the diaspora, with the flood apparently being endless.
It gave people a window into what the real India was like outside of the elite, and it's ugly and disgusting.
Pewds was simply the tip of the hot brown iceberg rearing its head as India came online.
