I know this post is a meme but it's really frustrating when shart-marters don't realise how lucky they are.
I have done literally everything right, performed at the absolute highest levels, grinded off the charts hard and make $850k post tax trading stocks/crypto. My previous career was being a doctor and no cap in the UK you'd make like $250k pre tax $150k post tax, at a much later date than American doctors too.
Even though my income is higher than 99% of UK doctors I still would struggle to afford average US doctor lifestyle because everything is so expensive here. Not sure if my flag shows UK or Channel Islands but I've had to move fucking countries just for a chance to escape the suffering of the average European.
Then go on to reddit and see shart-marters moaning about their lives... I feel like imma snap.

Thanks man yeah I'm aware of the general process, ECFMG certification then STEP 1, 2, 3 once you are there but it's not like being a US citizen.
The standards are far higher so the "elite" specialities are generally off limits and the j1 restricts where you can work pretty badly. H1b is better but still has lots of issues with city choice, working restrictions, permanence etc.
I thought really hard about it but desu the visa shite + doing so well from investing doesn't make it worthwhile. I would 100% prefer to be a bit above average US citizen.
Are you a FMG doctor too?

I've been on 4chan since I was really young and I was a total loser. Obviously could be making it up but how likely is it someone knows all the terms above and is residing in a notorious tax haven? Unlikely...
