If you mean whether taming is viable, then yes it is, at a higher level, with good charisma and negotiation (I hear that's what the affinity increases are based off of). I can tame most friendly mobs with 2 sessions of brushing as long as I brush myself to get the clean modifier first.

Vampire is full of bad design decisions like time-base stats and bat form.
It's gimmick isn't that interesting and you'll completely ignore it once you reach 15 fire res.
We still don't have consensual feeding or night vision. And no lore, if that matters.
There should be at least some way to gain vampirism stacks at will when you need it, because waiting 12 hours before fighting a boss is not a good game mechanic.
There was one really good decision with the mist of darkness spell protecting from the sun, but again, you'll probably have 15 fire resists before unlimited spell stock.
We need more synergies like that.

nta but demigod doesn't really get much of worth. it has very low starting stats and potentials and eyth doesn't give enough to stay as since no class wants every stat and has an anti synergy with their other feat since they want to drop eyth as soon as they can start working on the god pet grinds. Turning an artifact into eyth's is kinda pointless as you're trading the gods buff that usually synergizes with the faction buffs for just flat stats.
peacemaker is pretty much the only reason to even consider demigod and it's kinda just meh

I was looking for dungeon crawler roguelikes on Steam, and came across Elin.
I also saw it isn't only a dungeon crawler, but that there's also stuff related to farming sims, like farming, fishing, base building etc. so that's a plus. But then (I might be mistaken so forgive me if I'm wrong) I also saw that it also has a inflated numbers gimmick similar to Disgaea, so that's a minus because (again, I might be mistaken) usually the games I've played with those numbers must go big mechanics tend to have boring combat by mid, late and end game.
So I want to ask, how nice is the dungeon crawling experience? How diverse are builds? Can you run just about anything or you need to either run specific shit on end game or exponentially scale/inflate your stats to deal with stuff?

Going to rope these two together.

Late game gear often has skill levels on it that vastly overshadows your base character grinding. You usually get these from high level void bosses (and chest that is rewarded for killing them), strife statues on high levels, pickpocketing void mobs, or through War Quests and raising the War level to unreasonable levels. (Beyond millions)

So, builds typically center around Pets and Allies since they gain EXP faster and be Gene Manupulated to expand their initial skill set. However, capturing End Game enemies is often more effective than raising your own, as you can use the high level milk to bolster your newborns to reach a similar End Game level.

If there is a "build" to run for your PCC, it's typically just running Inquistor and using Bane to strip God blessings from Void mobs, since worshippers of Lulwy and Itzpatl can be problematic with their bonuses being in the thousands.

I probably didn't mention every aspect, but that's basically the end game grind that isn't making bulk super food and running around the world map for 6000 years with an auto movement macro while you sleep. Hope it helps.

Thing is this game has infinite scaling, and if you skip the grind you actually skip content since there will only be higher level monsters appearing and higher grade materials.
The grind is good because it slowly introduces mechanics to you, easing you into the higher level difficulties.
