Sup senpaitachi and sisters, a fast question about Collar x Malice, I finished one of the routes and the main plot was barely touched, I knew this meant that I need to read all the routes to reach the true ending. is it even worth it? I didn't like Sasazuka at the start, he was fine later on, but not really worth my time at all to invest into this relationship, I don't like men like this. for the other routes? I'm only interested in Yanagi's route. I think Okazaki and Enomoto can be acceptable. I DON'T HAVE A SINGLE CARE about Shiraishi. I am not really that invested in the main plot. It was the only ost that made me feel it was really made by the great MANYO. Other BGM was fitting for the ge but not to his usual PEAK level... but it is not enough to make me keep reading this ge... should I just stop it? Honestly most otome games are boring to me because the MCs are so bland. Since you spend most of the game reading the MC’s inner monologue, if she’s boring the whole thing ends up feeling boring too.

There’s also a lack of compelling drama. When the MC gets together with a LI it never feels earned, it’s hard for me to get invested in the romantic relationships in otome games. Seriously where are the House in Fata Morgana or White Album 2 of otome?
It’s kind of crazy because it’s a women-dominated medium and women are known for writing great drama in other mediums.

I'm very familiar with JRPGs/danseimuke eroge so I often have to wonder why the better female leads are almost nowhere to be found in otome while it's the opposite everywhere else.
