- The Setsubun Mini-Event has concluded.
- With the Valentines Day update, new CGs and voice lines have been added.
- For logging in on the 14th, you will receive your Special Chocolate and a Reinforcement Expansion.
- Hiryuu Kai San has been introduced. Remodel requires level 98, 1 Blueprint, 1 Action Report, 6 New Model Armament Materials. She comes with 5 slots, can equip Jets, Liason Aircraft, and Rotorcraft and can perform the new AACI ID 53.
- New equipment Shinden Kai 3 (Prototype Jet Shinden) and Ryuusei Kai (Tomonaga Squadron) have been added. The former can be acquired from a new quest while the latter comes through Akashi upgrade.
- 4 permanent quests have been added. The new Prototype Jet Shinden can be obtained at the end of the quest chain.
- For Valentine's Day 2026, 2 sortie and 1 PVP quests have been added. Additional equipment slots can be obtained from a weekly sortie quest.
- Akashi improvements and conversions for various planes have been updated.
- A new CVCI for Jets has been added.

- December ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the Prototype Night Zuiun (Attack Equipment), 35.6cm Twin Gun Mount Kai 3 (Dazzle Camouflage) and Kai ver, Tenzan Model 12 (Tomonaga Squadron), and Type 3 Depth Charge Projector Kai [NEW]
- As of October 16, 2025 the game has entered Flight II-A mode.
- A VPN/Proxy is no longer required to log into the game. You will still need one if you access the game via DMM.
- As of mid October 2023 The terms and conditions for the DMM games platform have changed. After 1 year of inactivity games on the platform will have the right to delete your account information if they wish to. Put simply IF YOU GO ONE YEAR WITHOUT LOGGING INTO SHIPTHIS YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR SHIPS EVER AGAIN.

I really hate the useless fucking quest UI. Of all the UI "improvements" they've made, the most sorely needed one was to get rid of the useless 50% 80% nonsense.

I went from ~120 to 300 since yesterday. And i used all the quarterly quests + running sorties for best part of February, finishing a lot of One Time quests.
How much grind you have to do to even be in top 100

Last year on my server T100 went over 5000 points only 3 times.
You can get 3250 from EO and quarterly quests so you'll need 1750 points during the month or ~58 points a day.
When I aim for T100, I usually average 50 on weekdays and 100 on weekends from a mix 3-2 fast+ and 4-5 2SS. If I wanted to use more resources, 3-4 would give more points.
Those that go for T100 every month of course need to push way way harder but it's still possible. The 1/2 day senka record is 502 points.

I only rank once a quarter & go for T100 by averaging 50 senka/day + the quarterlies & monthly EOs for about 4.7k senka. Unless you're on HaSHIT server, the only times senka really goes over 5000 is when the Setsubun quests reward senka, and June, when the two yearly quests which reward Kikka/protopult & a total of 1080 senka show up. June rewards are usually good, so a lot of people make the effort.
I generally just cycle between 7-1 & 3-4 with net neutral resource/bucket usage.

I still think Kancolle should use vtubers as a way to market Kancolle to the US. There's a huge overlap between the two fans and there's profits to be made.
